Great campsite, very simple but nice vibes.
Ground is level enough but certainly on a little bit of a slope.
Fire pits and BBQ's allowed. Friendly owner.
WiFi only available next to house, but tbh that's probably not a bad thing.
Bring your own loo roll for the toilets!

Absolutely beautiful spot, great food in the vaynor arms across the road.
Less than ten min drive to pen y pass car park for the miners track route up snowdon.
Good showers and toilets, don’t know what more you could want from a campsite really,
One of my favourites, been coming over twenty years.

Good campsite with lovely views.
Facilities we as described with water tap, toilets and warm showers.
Lots of space and a reasonable £10 a night.
Also a pub literally opposite the campsite which we could get to in 5 minutes serving food.
Good bus links to Penn Y Pass.
All in all it worked perfectly for our hike up Snowden.

Lovely grass field campsite with three good toilets and two nice new showers.
Showers are £1 for 7 minutes and are hot and powerful - perfect after a day's walking.
Perfectly located for Snowdonia adventures with a bus stop at the end of the entry road next to a good pub, and Llanberis a few miles up the road.
Site only had a few guests while I was there but can imagine queues for toilets / showers during peak season - I had no issues with either.

Good basic campsite for people on a budget, set in beautiful countryside.
There are toilets, electric showers and a place to empty chemical toilets. No hot water in the washing up room but this can be remedied by getting some from the adjacent electric showers! Clean enough bearing in mind that all water has to be pumped up and there's probably a septic tank for waste so no bleach etc.
Best for:
Couples who like it quiet.
Climbers/walkers
People used to wild camping
Campervans on a budget as its £10 per person flat rate no extras no matter the size of your tent / van.
Last minute holidays as we never saw it full at the height of the season.
Not good for:
Large families with kids who need entertaining as there are no play areas etc.
Anyone who can't bear to be without their phones (there's no signal and no wifi and no EHU)
People who want to party late - camp rules forbid music systems, any music after 11 and require absolute quiet after 12.
There's a pub with good food and friendly staff near the entrance to the site and everything you could need including free wifi and plenty of outdoor shops in nearby Llanberis. Parking near the Snowdon railway is extortionate, try the village car park a few hundred yards away.

Fantastic location.
Next to the bus stop for the Snowdon Sherpa and opposite the Vaynol Arms. Quiet, no road noise.
Only downside is a lack of shower curtains,
But other than that, ideal for a weekend base for walking

Location good, facilities good,
Near pub and sherpa bus stop,
Cheap if a couple £10 per person per night,
Free showers, clean toilets
Will use site in the future.

Beautiful site. Basic but very clean facilities. We would definitely stay again and could do a week here no problem.
Great location. Nant Peris car park for the Sherpa bus is just a couple of minutes walk and there’s a great pub opposite.
It was a bit pricey though for such basic facilities. £10 per adult per night is fine if you’re single or a couple but we are a family of 4 and it worked out at £30 a night (£5 per night for children).

Basic Campsite - Cheap, Easy to find, Great pub across the road doing pub grub (Double sized).
Great location for Walking Snowdon Via the Pyg / Miners tracks as the Bus / Taxi drop off for Snowdon is a short walk up & across the road.
Couple of water points, toilets with sinks. Looks like there maybe a new toilet block coming soon

Beautiful campsite with panoramic mountain views, good facilities,
Friendly owners and a really good pub just across the road. Prices very reasonable.
Highly recommended!
