Beautiful peaceful site with access to fishing and a pub within walking distance for a snack or dinner!
We had a riverside pitch which was tranquil and calm! Site and communal facilities were very clean and showers were warm with plenty of pressure!
This site is located next to an A road which could be busy at times but that was not a problem for us having a front pitch riverside!
There are no shops in walking distance so you need to have your food with you or be prepared to go to the pub next door but there is a good choice within 10 mins drive.
The site owners are very friendly and quite passionate about their site especially the grass!
We would love to stay again if we are in the area😊

Owner met us at the entrance and guided us to our level pitch. Cash only site, £28/night. We reversed right next to the River Weaver. He moved a picnic table to our pitch.
He walked us around the facilities. Ladies and Gents shower blocks, washing and drying facilities, recycling bins, Elsan point, fresh water and waste drain.
He then kindly gave us a 30% off mains voucher for the The Riverside Inn next door. Also Leigh Arms is a 15 min walk away.
Beautiful spot. Swans, ducks and ducklings, Herons. Narrowboats and cruisers to wave at. You can kayak and fish from the site too.
Location is fab, good value for money, service is excellent.
Road noise can be heard, frequent aeroplane noise neither of which you can do anything about :-).
Toilet blocks are clean, lots of free hot water. Not modern but clean and functional and IMHO a bit cold. 2 Showers with curtains, lots of hooks, plenty of space. Elsan point, water and waste are open to the elements.
And quite a walk to the nearest shop.
Overall, a lovely independent site in a lovely location and we have told others about it.
We will definitely return soon

Small site with Touring pitches on the edge of the river bank.
Facilities clean and well kept.
Owner directed us to a beautiful scenic route along the river and back along the canal.

4 kayakers, who were paddling from Winsford flash to Runcorn rowing club on the Weaver Navigation.
Booked the site well in advance, 4 small tents.
Great price, good communication with the owners,
Brilliant site, excellent facilities, lovely shower and laundrette.
Fantastic pitch next to the river.
Nearby pub with meals.
It was quiet, secure and wonderful.
Well done woodbiners.

Brilliant stay here.
We usually book fully serviced pitches so that was our only reservation. It didn't matter at all. Lovely clean and well cared for site, helpful owners, amazing pitch with a river view, close to amenities if needed and a pub also with a river view 2 mins walk.
There is some road noise but again that didn't matter at all to us given everything else being so great.
Will definitely be back, would seriously consider a seasonal pitch here.

I booked this campsite for myself and two friends to use as a bass for a kayaking tour of the river Weaver.
It suited the purpose very well as our pitch was on the riverbank.
The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean and with the riverside pub/restaurant next door serving good food and drink, we enjoyed our stay very much.
