This was 50% more expensive to stay at than other campsites we stayed at along Hadrian's Wall and probably had half the facilities.
The site was something of a building site and seemed to be designed for the many static caravans rather than motorhomes / caravans / campervans or tents.
Probably our least favourite site - hence we only stopped one night.

There was no one to greet us on arrival and had to ring owner to get the digital gate code to get in.
This small site is mainly for permanent statics which looked neat and well kept.
But unfortunately the facilities were totally unacceptable for £35 per night. They were very old and tired with no mirrors over sinks. Showers were only slightly warm with cold water only in sinks and in wash up area. I was told they are changing to all statics.
The town is a very short walk and lovely. There are fab walks to Hadrians wall.

This site was immaculate, the shower block was cleaned regularly, it also had laundry facilities and waste disposal too.
5 friends travelled in 4 campervans and a caravan.
We were made very welcome and we would definitely recommend and hope to return as it was quite central for the group.
A short walk into Brampton to visit the quaint shops is a must.

Must be one of the worst caravan parks in Cumbria and I hope nobody buys a static caravan you will regret it
Park is well sited for Brampton but is well to many caravans for the site
Noise level is loud in to small hours of the morning

Nice quiet site. However, facilities were very old and tired.
Not worth £35 per night. Far too expensive. (Perhaps that explains why it's so quiet).

Our second stay here and once again we found it friendly and laid back.
We had electric hook up and the ablution block is in the centre of the site.
It is well placed for the village of Brampton which has everything you need.
It's also a great base for exploring the local area and beyond.

Reasonably well maintained site. Pitches advertised as hard standing but were just gravel.
Facilities for emptying our toilet was not great - blocked and overfilling. No drainage point for grey water. Bins at the entrance were overfilling. Expensive at £30 a night.
Toilets and showers were OK and cleaned regularly.
Brompton is a beautiful little village with Hadrians Wall less than 8 miles away.

It was our first camping trip and what a place we choose. The site was perfect if you are after club houses etc this isn't for you. The site was very quiet, but had what you needed.
Had a great place to pitch up, close to the toilet and shower block. Very clean in both toilets and showers, water lovely and hot when showering.
Keith was very friendly and welcoming. Great location only 5 minutes from the town centre of Brampton that has everything you need to get supplies should you need them.
A great place for our family to start our camping adventure we will certainly be back.

Fantastic little campsite and lovely walks around the country side, very welcoming upon arrival. Campsite is around a 10 min walk into the local town.
Very clean and well maintained would definitely recommend for a short quiet few nights away and we will definitely be returning.
A big thanks to the lovely lady Caroline for making check in pleasant and a breeze.
