This is by far the best holiday park we have stayed at.
I have stayed at this park 4 to 5 times a year for the past 6yrs as a couple and also with the grandkids, the entertainment crew are the best around and make you feel like part of their family.
The rest of the staff go out their way to help any way they can.
Have tried other holiday parks but kids always ask to come back here even at the ages of 14, 12 and 6

The site is well kept and clean
The toilets and showers are always clean and what makes this a little different are the full sizes baths.
The walk from the overflow site to stanwick around 15 minutes.
Plenty to keep children entertained and dogs welcome

Located in beautiful Silloth we expected this campsite to live up to its surroundings.
The Skiddaw campsite was absolutely rammed with tents, caravans and motor homes - not a spare inch anywhere - it felt so claustrophobic.
The site is also located right next to a very busy main road - with a cement works at the end! All day and night (even during the night too) HGV’s and lorries were up and down the road.
Not good for families with small children - will not be back I’m afraid.

First visit to stanwix heard a lot of good things about it and they were spot on,
Great site friendly and efficient staff great pool with sauna steam room and jacuzzi and a great little chute for children.
The outdoor pool has enough tables and chairs for its size but its not heated and i`m not brave enough to go into unheated pools lol
The entertainment for both adults and children is absolutely brilliant and the prize bingo is a laugh.
The drinks are not as expensive as I expected if we hadn't already another site for October
We would definitely be going back here

This is an all singing all dancing family holiday site.
For a family the facilities are excellent - indoor/outdoor pools, crazy golf, tennis, snooker, slots, shop, cafe, bars, etc. Cabaret bars brilliant and entertainment best you will find on a campsite.
Even when packed, the facilities were kept cleaned without any of the nonsense of "closed for cleaning".
Prices very reasonable. Best of all the staff are brilliant, so friendly and very helpful to everyone.
Any problems sorted immediately. Not our usual choice of site but very pleased we tried this site, well done Stanwix.
Solway coast is magnificent and Silloth is an old fashioned seaside town, well past its best but still attractive in its own way.

Been here numerous times in the last 6 years. All round great park for adults and children.
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The indoor one has sauna, steam room and jacuzzi along with a kids pool and slide. Outdoor is for summer only as its not heated.
There is crazy golf, tennis courts, ten pin bowling, snooker, pool and slot machines. Entertainment downstairs for family's with kids entertainment and kids clubs. Upstairs for adults with top class groups and acts. Also a sports bar with sport on tv's.
Well worth a visit

We were on the Hylton site, clean and tidy and in close proximity to the town of Silloth, it is roughly 0. 9 miles from Hylton to Stanwix not great if your not mobile, would have to be a taxi.
Went to the Sky bar at Stanwix for a few drinks, seemed like a decent set up, can't comment on the entertainment as we didn't see any,
But overall a solid 8 👍👍

Have visited this place numerous times over many years. Sadly recently people coming from the clubhouse have taken advantage of the lack of night time wardens. Excessive loud noise, swearing and screaming even well past midnight were commonplace here! This is due mainly because large groups of people were wallowed to come in tents which were mixed in among the touring caravans. On a recent visit very late at night, a fight broke out between some people on the touring field and continued for almost one hour before anyone from security came to see what was happening! The entire caravan field was awoke after 11pm until 1am due to the shouting and swearing! It's a real shame as it used to be a very relaxed and peaceful place to stay. Sadly we won't be back here.

A really nice site. Very clean. Good shower block, you can have a bath if you wanted to. Pitches are a generous size with ehu, water & grey water waste drain.
So geared up for all ages.
Very Covid safe.
It’s about 1km walk to the beach.
