Beautiful little spot off the main road and any closer to the sea would be in it.
Very quiet, good facilities, well kept, friendly staff.
Reluctantly leaving this review as it’s a hidden gem which I would selfishly keep this way but they deserve much credit.
The cliff top location is windy and doesn’t support having your awning out but we still managed to sit outside in the sunshine.
My only negative is for the money would have been good to have water tap closer and grey waste point but this is a minor point.
Can’t wait to go again.

We stayed at laburnum in West Runton for two nights to explore Cromer and the local area. This site has pitches at the top of the cliff with spectacular views and cliff walks which is why we chose this site. When we were here we had fairly good weather, one night with 20 mph winds did rock the van a bit and therefore I would be a bit wary if there was strong winds staying so close to the cliff edge, definitely need wheel chocks. There is toilet and shower facility on site but this is very old run down, only one shower usable the other trickled every ware but the person under it and the facilities where not clean at all. This was the only negative thing about the site. The location is excellent. In the town you can get a bus to Cromer or Sheringham or further up the town is a very good train service only one stop to Cromer. Between the site and Cromer on the main road is the famous Rocky Bottom cafe this is within easy walking distance to the site but sadly we did not get a meal here as it was fully booked all day.
We took the cliff walk to Sheringham which is about 20 min away with very good views and a lovely beach walk. To the opposite side of the site is a 3 min walk down the cliff to the local beach which has toilet facilities and a cafe. A short walk down to the town you will find The Village Inn serving food, a restaurant called the pepper pot and a local shop and fishing shop selling fish bait. Although the toilet facilities on this site are not great it is still a lovely site located for visiting Cromer and the beautiful beaches

Very Expensive site fee. The Pitches were good, hook up was good. The Facilities were clean but with a digital awkward lock we needed glasses to be able to access the locked facilities. There were no lights, the showers dribble, I had to go and get limescale remover from my van to put on shower head to make it work, it's like using a Mizzan hut in mid Winter, it was cold. I was very disappointed with the showering facilities and want to know why it's so expensive?
My favourite bit was the location, magnificent views of the sea and only the North Sea, not the Mediterranean. Good access to Sheringham and Cromer, being situated in the middle, it's only 3 miles walk to either, along the beach. There's a bus stop right outside the camp, and shop and pub etc. Just the facilities let it down.

Stayed at this site for 4 nights. The touring sites are situated on the cliff top with fantastic views across the sea. The toilet block, although a little dated is kept spotless.
There is a small shop on site that doubles as reception with very friendly staff.
A short walk down the road (5mins)takes you in to the village with a pub/spar/camping shop among others.
5mins the other way takes you on to the beach.
Only a short drive to Cromer one way and Sherringham the other.
Really lovely well kept grounds and friendly people will definitely be going back.

Have visited this site for the last few years, and are back there again in 2015. Fantastic pitch just back from the cliff edge with great views and sunsets to die for. Great cliff walks and the beaches are a dream when the tide is out with long stretches of smooth sand. Small shop that has essentials, but a Spar is only 5mins walk away in West Runton, together with a couple of good dining places. Facilities on-site are for tourers only and are kept in a spotless condition. The bulk of the park is for statics, and is very well maintained, with a separate play area for Children.
You must visit their website which has great pics which are maintained daily.

What a lovely position 6 touring pitches on the cliff top in front of the static vans on the site. Amazing views when the mist lifts. Toilets and showers old but adequate and kept locked for use of patrons of touring park only.
Lots of walkers on the cliff path which runs inside the site but not a problem as monitored by park manager. Nice children`s play area away from caravans and plenty of space next to park for ball games and dog walking.
Access to beaches 10 minutes walk.
Small shop on site for newspapers and essentials.
WiFi available.
Nice site for touring North Norfolk.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely site and are already planning our stay for next year. As previously described the touring side of the site is small but this is definitely a bonus and everyone was friendly whilst we where there.
Because there are only 6 pitches the 2 male and 2 female showers/toilets are more than adequate (although showers a bit slow)always spotlessly clean. The site also has a laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier, free iron and ironing board, this is also where the dishwashing sink is. The reception provides basic items and some beach goods. There is a separate large field for ball games and a children's play area.
The site is a short walk (5 min)from the beach and beach cafe/toilets in one direction or a short walk into the village where there is a pub, local shop (poss spar) and a caravan/camping shop which is an aladins cave. You can catch the bus from the village into either Cromer or Sheringham.
Beautiful views and sunset.
Friendliest welcome we have had on a site.

A cliff top site, the touring section of just six pitches is on the cliff edge, overlooking the sea.
Another east coast site where the sun sets over the sea.
Small, but extremely clean and tidy toilet block, with constant hot water.
Basics sold in the reception shop, but there is a shop in the village of West Runton just five minutes walk.
Regular bus service into Sherringhan and Cromer from the village too.
Five minutes walk through grassed area to a slipway onto the sandy beach.
Easy access into Sherringham either along the cliff top footpath or along the firm sand at low tide.
Excellent escape from it all site, with everything on the doorstep if required.

We spent 2 nights here and were made to feel very welcome by the very friendly owners. We managed to book over the phone on the day of arrival and they were happy to be flexible as they had the space.
As already described, this is a statics site with just the top cliff-edge area available for tourers. Being out of season the site was very quiet with just the sound of the sea. We were also lucky with the weather, with there being barely a breeze. This is a very exposed site so I don't think it would have been comfortable if it had been windy.
As the toilet and shower block was close to the coast path it had to be kept locked, which meant we had to carry a key, but not a problem. However the showers were very basic. I've known worse, but using them wasn't an enjoyable experience and let the site down a bit. Also disappointed that there was no washing up facilities.
We are in two minds about having a pitch so close to the cliff edge and it's coast path - the view of the sea was stunning, but it felt a little awkward with coastal walkers and their dogs strolling, jogging, stopping, chatting and pooping (the dogs that is) just a foot or so from your door!

This is a lovely site with only 6 touring pitches so there is a need to book. The touring pitches have great views of the sea they are hard standing on a very slight slope so may require levellers.
The facilities are very clean and plenty for the number of tourers.
The owners are really happy welcoming people making for a nice friendly holiday atmosphere.
The phone and TV signal are strong.
The site is on the edge of West Runton which has a lovely pub, nice cafe and two great restaurants.
Sherringham is about a mile away it is an good olde fashioned seaside town with a few amusements, nice tea rooms and numerous eating places. We have a lovely fish lunch at The Lobster a pub on the high street which was good value and of really good quality.
We really enjoyed our two night stop wished it was longer.
