I had a great stay at Homestead Farm. Once I had negotiated the gravel track to the farm - as a fellow traveller said ‘Just take it easy’ - I was given a lovely pitch on a large flat field.
Barry, the owner, met me & suggested I pitch by a trestle table which was really helpful. Barry checked on me each day and was helpful and welcoming.
The toilets and shower are in a container-type block, which looks a bit off-putting, but were clean & functional & definitely up to the job.
It was the perfect place for me to explore the South Downs and a lovely, peaceful place to return to.
I was there out of the main season & had the field pretty much to myself - although a micro light dropped in, which was quite exciting & interesting.
The place could do with a bit of a tidy up, but for £7. 50 a night, I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks Barry.

This was a really beautiful spot, the tent area was secluded from caravans and surrounded by beautiful Forest.
The staff were very friendly and I'd definitely come back.
The limited numbers on use of toilet blocks was tricky to manage as you were often waiting quite a while for toilet use due to combined toilet shower block but they were clearly following government advice and doing the best they could.

We stayed two nights with a large tent, electric pitch, 2 adults, 7y/o + a 17y/o - the site was beautiful - so private and well kept hard-standings and golf pitch level grass - so soft! there were bunnies on the field in the morning too :)
Extremely quiet, serene site with amazing night skies :)
A dog creche operates on site mon-fri but they were in a controlled area with constant supervision and minimal noise.
Barry was very kind, available and friendly.
Take your own soap and toilet roll.
We were allowed a disposable bbq on the grass if used stones there to elevate it.
Adequate facilities are provided for shower and toilet, as well as a shower head station for dish-washing.
There is a lovely woodland walk accessed quickest from the off shoot lane from the main W Flexford lane (find the river on maps and follow it, not google walking instruction). We followed this for a 20min walk to the White Hart Pub which was gorgeous - saw deer on the walk too and a cricket pitch - there's also a Londis in the village here or a Tesco Express/Co-op within 10min drive.

Very quiet and relaxed place to visit. Barry the owner of the site is very friendly and accommodating.
Facilities are basic but so is the price. The airstrip adds to the character of the place and can make the visit more enjoyable. Dog friendly and loads of space to look around and enjoy.
My family have visited this site twice and we will return.

Site is located off Hogs Back (A31) and there is a short railway track nearby but neither are enough to spoil the peace and quiet.
Access is through a few small industrial units but nothing to worry about.
There are a couple of hard standing electric pitches but these were used by regulars at the time we visited.
The main field is reasonably flat with open countryside views.
You can pitch anywhere in the field either close to the hard standings for electric or as far away as you want - rain permitting.
There is a small portacabin with one shower and separate toilet. Because of this Barry (the very friendly owner) doesn't like too many non-self contained units on site at the same time.
The field includes a small airstrip for microlights or similar. It wasn't busy when we went but I would imagine it gets more popular with better weather and local events-Farnborough Airshow.
Owner permits those staying to use airstrip for radio controlled aeroplanes and helicopters, so hubby was very happy.
No local facilities, especially as access for last mile is via bumpy unmade road. However Guildford, Aldershot, and Farnborough are all within about a 15 minute drive.
Price for a caravan, 2 adults and electric was £16 a night, plus £1 per night per dog. Charges were explained before booking and was more than lots of other sites, given the facilities etc. But we had a good relaxing time and will return. There are additional charges for visitors, can't remember how much but Barry did tell us prior to booking.

The site is a very large flat field with with fantastic open views across the country side located on a very secluded working farm.
There was a small portacabin containing toilet and shower room which was basic but clean.
The field is marked out as a grass airstrip which we saw being used by a hotair balloon and para glider.
The owner was extremely friendly and was always available to help us if required.
There was a pub that was a 35 minute walk away down wooded foot paths and a railway station close by.
This site was ideal for our small group of friends to relax and get away from it all for a few days.
Would visit again if camping in the same area.

This site is set between the A31 Hogsback dual carriageway and the London railway line. Long and very potholed lane to reach site.
The gravelled 'hardstanding' area we were shown to resembled a junk yard with tyres and bits of old machinery lying around.
We did not find the owners pleasant to deal with and thought the site very overpriced. We will not be returning.
