Great site for £25 per night (plus 50p for an eight minute metered shower), nice clean facilities with washing up liquid provided at pot wash.
Ideal site to use as a base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.
Place is lovely at night with all the fairy lights.
Walking distance to town and supermarkets.

What a gem. Had a lovely stay here.
Lovely big site, toilets 5 star, very clean and well kept.
Plenty of selection of pitches. Cater for all.
15mins walk to the start of town where there is a Morrisons and lots of other shops.
Restaurants, cafes & take aways. Stranraer is a beautiful town, very clean & well looked after.
Will be back.
Lovely drive down the west coast beautiful scenery.

Lovely well kept site. Was met by owner and asked if we preferred hard standing or grass.
Was shown to pitch and told the normal things like where to pitch your own and park the car etc. Lovely hot showers which was 50p.
The money box is outside of shower cubicle so just be aware.
Morrisons near by and a nice walk into town. No dog walk on site but plenty walks once you come down the lane.
Lovely quiet site. If in area again would definitely book here.

This place was very beautiful and the facilities were lovely and clean.
I liked the little benches outside each pitch with solar lights on them.
The owner was very nice and helpful.
Would definitely recommend staying here

We used this site as an overnight stop off before getting ferry to Northern Ireland then on return journey we stayed overnight again.
It's a very well kept sight with clean facilities (the short stay ones are a little dated with coin meter for showers outside the shower cubicle), we weren't entitled to use the long stay facilities so can't comment on those.
We stayed on the hard standing, which was a little like a carpark, but ideal for what we needed, there were planters and benches on every bay and was pleasant to sit out.
Only 10 mins from Port Ryan Ferry so will definitely use again.

Beautifully landscaped and an immaculately clean campsite.
Owners were friendly and very helpful.
The birds singing were heaven and the peace ah bliss, and then there were the hot showers. Amazing.
A wonderful place that everyone should stay at.
5 out of 5 stars.

This well-maintained site is a great base to explore the surrounding area, or to stay prior to boarding a ferry to Ireland. Our hardstanding pitch was a very reasonable £23 per night with EHU.
Upon arrival, we were shown to our spacious pitch and given all the relevant information by the owner. The facilities were really clean and tidy. Our only (very minor) gripe was the 50p coin slot for the shower, we would have preferred to pay slightly more for the pitch, but I guess the owners have their reasons.
There is only a short 15min walk into Stranraer and to a large Morrisons supermarket and other shops.

Well laid out site, easy to check-in and directed to pitch by owner.
Toilet/showers were immaculate and cleaned at least three times per day. Good powerful showers.
Friendly, quiet site.
Enjoyed our break.

Stayed here simply for its close proximity to ferry port. Was not impressed from the start. Hard standing area just looked like a scruffy car park, complete with white painted lines.
Reception was dated and only accepted cash, no cards. Expensive site considering lack of facilities, and then also charged extra supplement for children, awning and showers.
Shower block was basic and dated with 50p meters for shower. Children’s play area was simply a couple of swings over in the tent area. No campers kitchen or fridges for campers (EHU not allowed in tents).
Pitches strictly marked out with red paint and pointed out with great attention by warden. Whole place felt a bit military snd strict for our liking…signs everywhere…. Turn off taps, walk on path, turn off lights. Untidy rubble lying behind toilet block and around bin area.
All in all not an enjoyable stay. Would not go again.

The site is well run clean and tidy Very friendly owners who escort you to your pitch, There was a selection of pitches as the site was not busy,
Good basic Toilet and washing facilities with 2showers (£0. 50 for 8 minutes) good it was. No communal / tv area that I could see
Town centre is 15minutes walk or 5 minutes in the car. Very reasonable pricing
Would recommend for a short stay if visiting the area👍👍👍
