Excellent facilities and great campsite.
Easy access to Epernay and well maintained site.
We enjoyed the river and the easy ambience of a secure city site.
Tre Bien Epernay

Surprisingly nice site considering it’s a municipal site. Yes, as other reviews have stated, the facilities need a little modernising, you do have to take your own loo role, and the on-site water taps are the type you can’t screw a pipe into, and they run slowly.
That’s the slight negatives.
There is a Motorhome station just outside the site if needed.
Most pitches are large, grass, and well laid out with hedges separating them, with or without electric. There are shaded pitches near the river and open pitches elsewhere.
Helpful and friendly staff, very good price and around a 2km walk into the city centre.
A partner organisation provides a restaurant and bar on site as well as boat/kayak rental and Tango dancing!
A Shuttle bus provides tours but we missed this. Very useful position for a stop off heading into France or for visiting Epernay and we will use again.
Epernay is all about Champagne and apart from a feathered balloon not too much else.
If you love Champagne then this must be on your list.

The campsite is on the outskirts of town in an industrial area next to a sports area. It is about 30 minutes walk from The Avenue of Champagne which was why we chose it.
It is not really near any restaurants or shops but you are able to order bread etc for the next morning by adding your order to a list. The site was busy but with a few spare pitches.
Toilets and showers were fine and facilities clean. Pitches are a reasonable size and level.
There is a very good walking area that we used to walk our dog off the lead - out the side gate and along the river.
We would use the site again if in the area, although it is fairly expensive for a municipal.

Different from our very small campsite in Leogang but a perfect for a one night stop over.
Although slightly tired looking perfectly clean and comfortable.
For the size remarkably quiet after 22:00.
Ample facilities and very friendly staff

From arrival the reception was welcoming and warm.
The pitches are a good size and when we were there it was peaceful even though pretty full.
The facilities were all good and it seems to be regularly cleaned.
We tend to free camp so for us it was great to stop off and shower and empty waste and top up water.
It's pretty close to town and walkable.
We would happily return here to visit Epernay and surrounding areas.

Peaceful site with dated but totally adequate facilities.
Flat, grass pitches which are private and a good size.
Epernay is an easy 25-30 min walk. Staff are friendly and it’s worth the €24/night charge.
Shame they don’t take ACSI cards.
Would recommend for exploring this region.

Busy sight 25 minutes walk from the Champagne town of Épernay.
Most pitches shady and separated by hedges.
We reserved ahead asking for a pitch with a river view, which made a real difference to our experience - fantastic to watch the tame ducks and geese waddling about as well as a kingfisher.
Facilities were OK, but busy at peak times.
Office staff were friendly and helpful.
24€ for 2 people, campervan and EHU.

Enjoyed our stay on a riverside pitch so much that we extended for a third night.
Facilities all up to scratch and on site pop up restaurant provided a decent meal.
Walk into Epernay is about 25 mins and the Avenue de Champagne easily provides a day’s entertainment!
We also spent a day cycling along the veloroute along the river which was wonderful.
We would return here.
