Visited for a fairly local weekend break.

Despite the approach through the town centre and bus garage (!) this site has a lovely rural riverside setting, yet is literally a few minutes walk from town, or you can walk out on to the hills in the other direction.

Warm welcome, nice grass pitch - we were right next to the river, with other options available.

Good facilities.

Perfect for a short break, and we will be returning.

We had a good prepared greeting from the staff who looked after us well and enabled us to have a good stay.

Mike and his man also gave us good local knowledge and advice.

We had a lovely stopover. Owners were really helpful and accommodating.

They helped us with directions for a hike and recommendations on where to eat.

The town is a level easy walk that only took approximately 5 minutes. Site was perfectly level!

Clean, well maintained and peaceful.

Will definitely stay again when in the area

Good location for the ODP & only a short walk into the town.

Quiet location by the river & friendly management & provided a chair to sit on.

Washroom ok with hot shower.

This an excellent well kept site with plenty of space and views of the surrounding hills.

It is friendly and very welcoming, and we loved the peaceful surroundings - listening to a range of birds gently calling each other early evening was a joy.

It is no more than a 5 minute walk into the centre of Kington, an unspoilt border market town.

It’s a great location for cycling and walking.

This campsite was ideally situated for our planned itinerary for exploring Kington and the surrounding area including the Offa's Dyke Path.

Easy to book via email with quick response from Mike; a quiet, comfortable and restful site, level pitches with adequate, clean facilities.

A 5 minutes walk into Kington where there are shops, galleries, cafés, pubs, a delightful museum and plenty of local history. Good, efficient bus service to Knighton, via Presteigne and further afield if required.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this site.

In the perfect location for exploring Kington, Hergest Ridge, and Bradnor.

Close enough to the small town of Kington to walk "home" after a few beers.

Site amenities (shower, toilets, san point and water) are basic, but clean and adequate.

If I was in the area again I would definitely try and book here again.

An added bonus is that one can see Mike Oldfield's former (1974-75) house on the hillside in the distance 👍😉

 Absolutely beautiful site.

Peaceful, welcoming and friendly people to communicate with.

Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here even with young children. Very helpful people.

Facilities on site are showers toilets and a pot wash room and they are all clean an tidy.

It’s a lovely little site only a five minute walk to the town of Kington.
