We have just stayed here for a couple of nights. Nice, quiet location only a few minutes from Skegness and Ingoldmills. We were just using as a base as family staying nearby and once there were cycling to places, not sure I would want to walk anywhere as the roads were all country lanes.
Initial welcome was friendly, although booked/paid online for a unlimited pitch size and 2 persons (was unclear at booking that this meant a 2 person tent and the pitch wasn’t unlimited, we were squeezed between 2 other tents with just enough space to park and limited outside social space) instead of being £14/night jumped to £22.
Site facilities were basic, shower lacked hanging space (1 hook and no mop to wash down before/after) and only 2 showers.
Site was quiet, although on second night a group were arguing at 3am (totally out of the blue with no rowdy buildup but quickly stopped once another camper told them to shut up (I was just about to say the same thing).

We stayed at Birchwood over the Bank Holiday ( was lucky we got the last pitch ) The site clean as are the facilities. Space in between tents so did not feel like sardines in a tin. Campsite warden was friendly, camp shop sell drinks and snacks also fishing equipment. It was very reasonably price £20 per night for family of five.
Tip: There is a public footpath behind the campsite. Roughly 30-40 mins walk into Skegness. Lovely little pub to stop in on the way or way back.

Not recommended. Toilets and shower was dirty, local and visiting fishermen parking on our plot. This site is overpriced for what is on offer.
The toilets and showers were being cleaned when we arrived on the Monday. I was directed to use the ladies when I went to the gents. Later in the day I went for a shower and could now believe the state of it when I closed the door. No cleaning was done till Friday and even then it was not good. Won't be going back.

Great site with very flat well kept grass area, great location with only a short ride to both Skegness and Ingoldmells. The site has very clean toilets and shower blocks with local shops only 2 minutes away and is ideal for anglers as it has a good well stocked lake with a small pond in the centre of the site. Child friendly but has no play area for them and electric hook up is available on request. The site also has hot and cold drinks as well as ice pops if so need them. All in all a good clean family site with cheap ground rates and everything you need for a camping holiday.

Lovely site. Only a few miles from Skegness but worth it (although I'm glad I borrowed a friends' SATNAV to find it (would it be possible to signpost it for the future?!)
Nice and quiet with good facilities. Modern &clean shower/toilet block and washing up area is under cover.
We didn't go for the fishing but there were plenty that did!
2 pools. One with fish to feed/watch, the other to fish in! Also some friendly ducks around!
My son is now 16 so we weren't after children's' facilities but with the beach only a few miles away what more could you want?!

We found this to be a lovely site in a nice peaceful location with good access to Skegness.
The on site warden was very helpful and the site itself is well kept. Toilets were clean and tidy. Though you need to remember to take a torch out with you at night which the kids found brilliant.
We took the kids to Butlins for the day which was only a 5 minute drive away.
Would recommend as a base to enjoy Skegness.

Stayed at this site last weekend for 4 days. Managed to get on the site at 1pm after calling instead of 3pm. Nice site with a pond in the middle which is fenced off, then there is a fishing lake.
There are toilet and shower blocks, the only problem is that the water goes under the doors so a bit hard to get dry as no where to put your clothes could do with a mop and bucket leaving in. There is also a pot washing area.
Skegness is only a few minutes drive away but there is a bus stop about 10 minutes walk away. There is a Premier shop not too far away, bit far to walk.
One of the problems with this site is that children go round the lake on their own which is a bit of a pain when fishing, the other problem is that you are not supposed to arrive till after 3pm which is a bit late as half the day has gone by the time you are set up.
The site managers are helpful and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

I would highly recommend this site as it is very clean.
There is a lovely little lake for fishing and the people who run the site could not be more helpful if they tried.
It is a quiet site so perfect for a relaxing break.
It is only a short drive from both skegness centre and fantasy island.
Although you have to drive to shops the on site managers will rustle you up a sandwich and drinks if need be.
We will be returning in the very near future A+

Great little campsite, basic but we had a lovely stay in this quite and really friendly campsite.
It is well maintained however, the toilet block could do with an extra service during the evening period although there was plenty of hot water and toilet roll!
Great place to stay if you want days out to Skegness as it is only 1. 5 mile to the beach front!
On arrival is wasn't clear where the reception/site office was. Maybe this could be improved.
All in all would go back and stay there again.
