We stayed for 3 nights at half-term and had a great time.
We normally take our own tent, but as it was just Dad and 2 boys we decided to go with the 'easy option' for a change. Very glad of that when we arrived in pouring rain and having had to stop on the way for car-sick youngest (twice!) on a generally nightmare journey.
Suzanne was absolutely brilliant from the start - took some washing away (for which she deserves a medal), brought us bread, bacon and eggs for breakfast the next morning (we hadn't had chance to stop on the way). Nothing was too much trouble.
Weather was much better for the next 3 days and we had a great time exploring - lots to do in the surrounding area, from Bewilderwood to Southwold pier, to fish and chips in Aldburgh.
My boys insist on a campfire at night (which limits the sites we can go to), but they also loved having a stove in the tent. They normally go home happy and grubby, but the toilet caravan was excellent too, so they even insisted on a shower before we left.
The well-equipped kitchen tent meant that we hardly needed to bring anything with us, which was another bonus.
We'll definitely be back.

We have just returned from a last minute weekend break at Harmony Woods staying in the smaller Bell Tent.
Suzanne & Mick are fantastic hosts you could not wish for nicer people.
Everything you require is there ready for you all you need is your bedding & towels, the campsite was easy to find and in a lovely rural peaceful location, we were lucky enough to have the place to our selves which was wonderful.
You could not want for a more peaceful relaxing location and we will certainly be back

We have just returned from Woods at Harmony. We stayed there for three nights and loved every minute of it. Suzanne is a lovely host who pulls out all the stops to make your stay perfect.
This includes endless wood supply for the outdoor fire and the tiny indoor stove, art materials for the boys (not just wax crayons and a jotter either!), willow to build dens, endless ice blocks to chill food and most importantly, genuine care for everyone.
Being a single mum can be scary on holiday alone with children, but I never even thought to be worried here. The bell tent is cosy on the chilliest of nights and the kitchen tent well equipped.
A total gift of a holiday, worth ever penny.

We just returned from a four night stay and had a wonderful peaceful time. We loved this site. Proper back to nature outdoor living. We were made very welcome and Suzanne went over and above to ensure we had what we needed including active encouragement to relax and do nothing! Couldn't want for better hosts.
It was April when we camped and still chilly but the tiny stove in the bell tent created lots of heat and was still warm in the mornings. The kitchen tent was big, light and well equipped.
Mornings were spent in absolute peace and quiet overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside and evenings sat on the sofa around the campfire where we also cooked most meals.
There's lots to do locally, Beccles Lido opens again in May or June and there's plenty of coast, countryside and woods to visit.
Lying in a hammock, drinking wine around an open fire was a highlight. And we went home having purchased some of Mick's lovely pottery. I thoroughly recommend.

A lovely site. Quiet, very well equipped and looked after. It's not cheap but still good value. The camp fire was great and so was the hammock when the sun shone - sadly not quite often enough!
We stayed in the smaller white tent which is enough for a couple and a young child.
If you don't want all the hassle of proper camping but enjoy the outdoor life its perfect. There are wooden floors in both tents (sleeping tent and kitchen tent) and a plentiful stock of fire wood as well as a barbecue. Cannot quite decide which was best, lazing in the hammock under the trees and sun or sitting in the dark around the camp fire with a full belly and a glass of wine.
I hope to return.

My friend Alex and I stayed at Woods @ Harmony last month and had a thoroughly good time! What a welcome we got from Suzanne and her husband! We arrived late due to rubbish traffic out of London, but were greeted by a very smiley Carolyn who had just lit our fire, exactly what we needed after a long journey! Carolyn continued to provide above-and-beyond service throughout the weekend; recommending places to see and things to do, lending us her OS maps for walking, providing us with fresh break and charcoal when we ran out, even charging my mobile phone when it ran out of juice!
The accommodation was good and had a lovely view of the neighbouring field, a great way to start the view – and they’ve thought of everything in the kitchen tent, even foil! I especially liked the hammocks by the fire, and the dogs are adorable and friendly (expert stick catchers too!) I’d recommend a stay here to anyone, and honestly can't think of any suggestions for improving it, private bathroom next to tent perhaps?
Ps - the local pub does a mean lamb shank!

Myself, my partner and another couple decided to get out of London for the last May bank holiday and stayed at Woods at Harmony. Typically, we had the last spell of cool, wet weather for spring, but despite the dampened weather we still managed to have a lovely weekend.
We also had typical bank holiday traffic out of London, but it was fantastic arriving to the site after a long journey to everything already set up waiting for us and not having to still think about setting up a campsite and unpacking. Suzanne and Mick were there ready to greet and welcome us - both were fantastic hosts throughout the weekend, always ready to help, give us local advise and make our stay perfect.
The setting was fantastic - in a small wood, surrounded by beautiful fields. It was great having the privacy of our own site (with just one other fairly close by) rather then having to share a huge site with many others. It was very peaceful and quite - perfect for the relaxing weekend out of London that we wanted.
The site had everything we needed and was very comfortable, and spacious. We loved relaxing in the outside area around the fire, and when it did rain we were still able to go and sit around the table in the kitchen.
The site, whilst very peaceful and away from everything, is still close enough to the nearby town of Beccles as well as only being a short drive to the Broads and Suffolk coastline.
Suzanne was great in advising us of local areas to visit and the surrounding areas and drives were beautiful. We also managed to experience a local music festival with organic cider flowing all day - fantastic :-)
Whilst we brought our own food and had all the necessary facilities to cook with, we did buy some of the local produce from Suzanne - eggs, bread, scones - which were delicious and perfect for a delicious, no fuss breakfast!
And when it came time to leave - it was great not having to worry about packing up, and just being able to hit the road and enjoy a leisurely journey back home.
All in all - a fantastic idea, fantastic hosts, a beautiful area and all you need for a short / long trip away!

We visited in July for a long weekend and were fortunate enough to have great weather throughout. Suzanne was the perfect host looking after us when we ran out of things (two men with their sons are bound to forget something!). The camp fire became the centre of attention with everything from popcorn to fried eggs and Calzone cooked over it. There are some great walks around the area and although we didn't get to the canoeing we did find a few very nice pubs along the river. We highly recommend Harmony to anyone with a desire to get back to campfire living but with the safety net of a fully equipped kitchen tent and everything else you could possibly need for a very comfortable weekend camping.

Myself, my partner and 15 month old son have just spent the most delightful 4 days at the site. Staying in the large green tent we fell in love with the ambience immediately. Surrounded by trees and looking out over rolling fields was perfect. Everything was supplied too, even tin foil to wrap our sandwiches, and we didn't need to bring any kitchen ware which was very helpful. Plenty of firewood too which was great for a pyromaniac like me. Also a big thanks to Suzanne and Tom for making us feel so welcome but without being overbearing.Perfect hosts in fact. Swinging in a hammock whilst feeling the warmth from the fire was lovely, the comfortable outdoor sofa even better.
We will be back as soon as we can raise more funds, thanks for an perfect weekend.
