Very pleasantly surprised, still upgrading the site but nice location, very pleasant owner. Keep up the good work. Nice short walk to Dunning, two nice pubs with food, very friendly locals. Will be back, look forward to it when all the work has been done should be top rated then, lake is nice as well.

We always visit this site when in the area and have done for many years. This year was so disappointing the once beautifully maintained site has new owners. Grass badly needing cut also strimmed dog walk grass is up past knees, dog bins full to capacity and very smelly. Toilets leave a lot to be desired very grubby. Pricing structure seems to be pot luck we paid one price and the people next to us also members paid a different price. It is a nice walk to village of dunning where there is small store and a couple of pubs which do meals. Hopefully the new owners will rectify the problems that are so obvious. Unfortunately we will not be back till we see better reviews

We had visited this site before and really enjoyed it, the area is beautiful and near to perth which is a lovely town, we booked again this year and were very disappointed, the site has new owners and it is not the same standard as it used to be, the showers/toilets were dirty, had not been cleaned, no toilet roll and bins were overflowing with empty toilet roll tubes, I had to clean the shower before I could use it. The dog walk was overgrown and the bins had not been emptied and very smelly, we will definitely not be coming back to this site. A very disappointed camper

Site under new ownership and having work done, to include new toilets, thankfully. Nicely laid out but needs weeds and grass controlled. Nice easy walk to village in under 10 minutes. Great food in the Kirkstyle Inn and church has early standing stone on display. Easy access from main road. Dog walk is in a field, which also needed cutting. Has fishing loch although we never saw anyone using it while we were there (3 nights)

It is now called by a different name with new owners which to be honest were not bothered about campers they proceeded to chop down trees and burn wood making it a noisy smokey site the grass was cut but no trimming was done. They intend I believe to increase the site greatly and are no longer in the caravan club. The toilet and showers of which there were two were grubby but the loos were clean we will not return until facilities are updated and reviews are more favourable. Such a pity it was a lovely relaxing site. Adult site, but no footpath to village until you get to the golf club on a very busy road. A Nisa in village for papers and food bread etc, 2 pubs one which has a restaurant we did not eat but it fully booked the two nights we were their. No shop on site or washing up area. Hope things improve.

Visited recently couldn't find anyone to help with booking office door locked all the time. Toilet facilities dreadful haven't been cleaned for long time. Grass had not been cut for dear knows how long. Dog walk grass above your knees and dog poo boxes stink and full to overflowing. Site had previously been immaculate but has since been sold. Would not stay again. Definitely not value for money.

A lovely site. Handy to use as a stopover, as we did, when travelling to and from the North of Scotland. It would also be good to use as a base for visiting the Trossachs and central Scotland, we visited the Falkirk Wheel and the Bridge of Allan during our stay. It is just a few minutes drive from the A9. The facilities were very good, two large rooms each, with a shower, toilet and wash basin plus bathroom fittings. The site is situated within a ten minute walk from the village of Dunning which has two pubs, one at least, selling real ale(my husband only tried the one pub so can't comment on the other). The best bit, from our point of view, is the fantastic dog exercise field which is enormous and provided a lot of enjoyment for our two dogs who love playing ball and frisbee. The site even provides free doggy doo bags if required. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. On leaving the site they even made a point of checking that the road was clear before we set off. This site is very well maintained and deserves the many awards which it has won over many years. We highly recommend it and intend to return in the future.
