Very nice site, easy to access as long as you follow owners instructions 😀.
Toilets and showers very clean.
Friendly owners who were only to pleased to help and give information about where to go and what to see.
Good dog walks around site.
All in all a lovely peaceful site, would recommend to others no problem.

Excellent adults only site. We booked at the last minute to make the most of the late summer weather.
The site is great, extremely well kept grounds with 16 amp pay as you go EHU and shared water tap between two pitches.
Julie and Dale are a lovely couple and couldn't have been more helpful.
Dale lent us chocks for the van as the pitch was very slightly sloped and Julie gave us some great tips for eating out. She recommended the Holly Bush but it was so warm we didn't fancy the walk to the train station so ordered a takeaway from Ocean takeaway instead.
We paid £16 per night plus the electric we'd used which was a bargain and a much fairer way of charging for electric rather than the blanket fee which most sites tend to charge.
The toilet and shower block was kept spotlessly clean, I spotted Dale cleaning several times a day.
We really enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you.

We were passing through from Scotland to dover the place is super quiet and very tidy.
Showers were fine and nice and warm toilets are also good and you can also enjoy a nice walk with your dogs.
If we are in the area we will definitely come back to this place.
-----------

Just outside the village of Caergwrle, good access with a wide turn onto the site entrance.
Adults only, 17 pitches all on grass, a bit long but ground was very firm even when wet.
Ehu on all pitches, those in centre are run off splitters. Water taps on each ehu pole. Grey water and chem disposal by facility block, no moho drive over water dump.
Showers and loos look a bit run down but very clean and included in price. Electric metered, you pay for what you use on your pitch.
Very peaceful site, no road noise. Only a short walk into the village. We walked up to the castle, great views but only a few ruins. Agree with others that a visit to Honey's Bakery is a must, incredibly good home made bread and great breakfasts and snacks.
The railway station is literally minutes away and gives great access to Chester and Wrexham. Some fabulous walking and cycling nearby at Alyn Waters Country Park and Moss Valley Country Park.
Helpful and friendly owners. 16 per night, plus metered electric, dogs 1. 00 per night.

Our type of site being small, adult-only and owner-managed by the lovely Julie and Dale - like staying with friends.
Our allocated pitch was ideal with a view, easy access to a tap, some shade from a hedge during the hot spell.
Showers are dated but fully functional and clean. Excellent new branch of Aldi was a few minutes drive away.
At least one visit to nearby Honey’s Bakery and Café is a must - a little oasis and excellent food (we had morning coffee/scone one day, cooked breakfast another), with table service.
Other excursions took us to Llandudno, Llangollen (busy in town but we lunched beside the canal followed by stroll on towpath), Horseshoe Pass, Caerau Gardens near Bala (stunning views and delicious homemade cakes and lunch).
Hope to use again as not too far from home,

Lovely surroundings, clean and tidy facilities. Lovely owners, dogs loved the field next to the camp.
First day was raining hard, but beautiful and sunny next day, enjoyed the quietness, only the birds singing.
Will definitely be coming back.

Stayed for 1 night to attend a hospital appointment. Booking was simply done on line and response time was very quick.
Nice flat site with decent sized pitches and pleasant country views.
Facility block was clean and well maintained.
Owners are welcoming and friendly.
Would use again if I needed to stay in the area.
