Just been here to white cottage holidays very clean site eco friendly good clean toilets and showers fire pits and BBQs for hire.
Owner very helpful and pleasant dislikes.
Pitches could be a bit larger (on the small electric site)
Ice cream van is too expensive £2.50 for a small 99

First stay here and definitely be going back,
Campsite spotlessly clean even though it was a bank holiday and really busy
The owners are always available and friendly.
Would recommend this site 100%

A lovely well maintained Park within walking distance of Hornsea.
The pitches were set well apart and the shower block/toilets were immaculate.
The owner was very friendly and approachable and recommended a lovely pub a short drive away where we had a lovely meal.
Would definitely stay here again

White Cottage is a fairly new well laid out site. The facilities are new and immaculate. Good location and you can walk into Hornsea. Supermarket not too far away.
Separate area for tents, hard standing for caravans. The ground is really hard, we lost 15 pegs all together. The showers are good but lack hooks for towels and clothes.
The disabled shower room is nice but the water takes a long time to drain away which means you stand in water for a while. No hooks is this shower room.
There are some glamping pods which are lovely with plans to add more. When the planting matures this site will look amazing.
One downside there is no reception, so some people were left wondering how to check in. There is. A number to ring but a lot of people missed the sign.

Lovely site, very clean and the toilet block is beautiful.
Well laid out but that said we did find when walking the dog he had a poo right at the back of the site and the only bins are at the entrance, it was a long walk to put it in the bin but otherwise we'd have had to carry it all the way to Hornsea!
The walk down the old railway track to Honsea is easy and worth doing.
The only thing I feel needs a mention is the traffic noise, unfortunately it is a busy road and at some times it was like being beside a racetrack. I know the owners cant do anything about that and it wouldn't stop us from booking again but if noise is a deal breaker then this might not be the site for you.
All in all a friendly and relaxed site.

The site seems to be new, the pitches were a really good size,
Really good position for walking/biking, nice quiet area,
Toilet/shower facilities still closed at present,
Signage could be a little better for on site areas [grey water/ bins/ washing up areas],
Not travelling with children so didn't really take notice of any child facilities

This is an excellent site with brilliant facilities. Everything is eco friendly and recycling is very important to the owners and it shows in the high standards maintained.
The owners are very friendly and approachable. We are a retired couple but found the walk into Hornsea very doable all thanks to direct access onto the old railway line now part of the trans pennine way which takes you directly into town.
Overall we highly recommend this site for the space, facilities, staff and accessibility. But if you are looking for a clubhouse, local shops and pubs etc then this site will not be appropriate for you.
Choose this for amicable quiet simplicity.

Loved the space
Great site
Plenty of room to play cricket with grandchildren
Shower and toilet facilities were very clean but not enough sinks. I believe that a new shower and toilet block will be opening soon which looked fantastic
So would definitely stay there again

Stayed here over the Bank holiday weekend.
Arrived to a lovely clean site with well cut lawns, clean facilities and not too many people. Bonus !
The owner came out to greet us and gave us directions to where to park and pitch our tent, plenty of space available. Explained about the facilities. Toilet block was shared male/ female but there was a single toilet next to the shower for anyone not wanting to share, with a sink basin.
Only 1 shower which wasn't really a problem, cost 20p a minute for the hot water, I used £1 each time which was plenty. There was also a double socket in the shower room for anyone needing to use a hairdryer etc.
Spent a lovely Saturday morning walking along the coast towards Bridlington and back through the villages, came across a scarecrow exhibition and coffee morning in the local village hall. Plenty of shops to visit locally and a nice beach if you feel like a paddle.
This site cost us £42 for a 3 night stay over the bank holiday, some sites would charge this for 1 night, if it's a clean, no hassle, quiet site your looking for this is the place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and even when the rain came down we were OK as the site soaked up the water really well and there was no muddy puddles or flooding.
If in the area again, we won't hesitate in staying here again
Thank you.
