There was someone to meet us as we arrived, very friendly and good layout.
The campsite was quiet at 10 pm.
The dog even enjoyed a dip in the brook running alongside access through the steps the site provided.
We just wanted a place to relax for weekend and we certainly did that.

The site is in a lovely spot next to a brook. Very well maintained, grass kept really short.
Pot wash, fridges & freezer, showers all very good.
Main con is traffic noise from nearby road

We really enjoyed this campsite with the brook running round the perimeter.
It was exceptionally clean and very tidy.
There were trees around the perimeter for shade and access to the brook via steps to rope swings.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The location was very good for Symonds Yat and Ross on Wye with local pubs nearby.
We would certainly visit again

Travelled as a group of same sex friends and family.
Most sites unfortunately don't allow these groups.
However we were welcomed to stay and were clearly given the rules for our stay.
Great site and great facilities.
Super friendly family owned site too.
Not much for children but wasn't what we wanted hence the 10/10

Received a warm and friendly welcome to this lovely site situated in beautiful countryside.
The owners had some difficulty in keeping the toilets supplied with disposable hand towels but very helpfully adjusted the shower water temperature on request.
The site lacked what I considered to be an essential grey water disposal point relying instead on emptying at the site periphery near to the brook.
The site also lacks a chemical disposal point relying instead on disposal of septic tank friendly chemical additive at one of only two WC ‘s.
Hopefully a proper disposal point will be added to what otherwise is a very good site.

Lovely small campsite, there's only 30 pitches so it didn't feel crowded. As a family with young children it was fantastic to have an open safe space for them to play in - the rope swing over the river was great fun.
The facilities were kept nice and clean. There are only 2 showers and 2 toilets in the men's and women's but this wasn't a problem and only had to wait a couple of times during the week
Lots of lovely walks nearby and fun to be had on the river. We'll definitely return.

It’s just a very nice, clean and friendly campsite.
Been here 5 years in a row, perfect location for enjoying the Wye river.
Hope to camp again in a few weeks time.

Lovely site, plenty of room and large pitches. Site is on a slope which flattens out for camping.
Toilet block is at the top of slope, very well equipped with two toilets and two showers in the ladies and in the men’s + sinks. Showers were brilliant lovely hot water. Well equipped hut for washing up.
Lots to see and do nearby and the A40 gets you there fast, but there is noise from the road to Hereford which runs right by the site.
Karen, one of the site owners, was lovely and very helpful. Owners are Star Wars nuts, their 2 site chickens were Hen Solo and Princess Layer and they have a life size storm trooper!
