Absolutely amazing hospitality from the host. He couldn’t do enough for us.
So kind and helpful, giving us a guide of the campsite, advice on walks, where to go and what we could see.
First time camping in our recently purchased T4 and we had an absolutely perfect spot to set up.
I can not recommend Tyr Ffynon enough.
A lovely coastal walk with the dogs down to New Quay, so many friendly people to chat to and share stories.
I can’t wait to visit again, ideally without the wind storm Lilian. !
Thank you so much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Simply stunning location with view of the sea.
Good shower and toilet facilities and a washing up room with 2 big sinks.
Lots of space for children to play in the middle of the field and also a small playground.
New Quay town a short drive away.
It's absolutely beautiful with every amenity and fabulous restaurants. The beach is brilliant and everything is dog friendly.
Lovely friendly owners, wish we could have stayed longer.
Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic location, very handy train station and lovely pub close by.
Nice quiet site, trains hoot their horns every now and again, but that's no bother at all.
Shower block a bit dated, but lovely and clean with lovely hot showers, also very good washing up facilities with roofing in case of rain.
All in all, can't complain, we'll be coming back.

Just on our way home after a fantastic break. The location is simply stunning. Shower and toilet facilities are good quality and the owners are conscientious about keeping them clean and in good working order. At busy times there was a short wait.
Pitches are large and mostly flat. Watch out for sharp rocks if you’re in a tent before you pitch. I loved the space kept open in the middle of the camping field for children to play.
Sunsets are spectacular. Peaceful at night and no unnecessary lighting so stars are incredible.
You will need rock pegs. Lots of rock pegs.
You will also need to be reasonably fit and active to walk from New Quay back to the campsite.

Good views and great phone/TV reception.
The site is work in progress as the toilet block was inadequate for the number of campers and should have been cleaned more often and thoroughly.
Elsan and grey water disposal was very poor and unsuitable for a motorhome.
Only one fresh water tap which didn't allow for hozelok hose pipe connection. Narrow lane access to the campsite could be improved with more hedge / tree trimming and the allocation of certain pitches could help caravaners but more particularly camper vans/ motorhomers levelling perhaps the second flater field should be allocated for these campers.

The site was great- clean, tidy and we had a beautiful view out to sea from our caravan!
Near to New Quay and Aberaeron which filled our 2 days of visiting so plenty to do nearby.

Excellent location, lovely walks along coastal path in both directions, not far to walk from New Quay (up hill looks worse that it actually is!)
Owners are friendly and welcoming. Showers and toilets were spotless at all times of the day.
Will definitely be visiting again

Very peaceful site, well maintained & a fenced off area where dogs can go of leads. Beautiful views & amazing sunsets.
Showers hot & toilets clean. Could definitely do with some shelving to place your toiletries on in the shower cubicles though & provision of squidgy mops to wipe out after shower.

Beautiful campsite and very friendly, helpful owners,
We'll definitely be back when we can.
The new shower and toilet block is really smart -
The only thing that would make it better would be to have a shelf or ledge to put toiletries and toothbrush on near the sinks. Sink surround isn't quite big enough, or dry enough, especially when 2 people in.
Small issue though, everything else great.
Stunning walks along the coast path in both directions.
Wildlife cruise nearby in New Quay definitely worth it,
Also great gluten free fish & chips from the Lime Crab, very coeliac friendly, a rare find!
