Lovely quiet site and greeted by owners who explained where everything was.
Pitch was a good size (T7) although a long walk to the facilities for my disabled wife.
Facilities are basic and rustic but clean although all near the house.
Found emptying grey waste water awkward as you need to lift the container up a small step, which for older people like myself is a pain.
Enjoyed our stay and would use again if in area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ty Koch.
This small site is convenient for both Cardiff and Newport.
The site is quiet and the facilities are plentiful and always clean during our stay.
Recommend visiting if you want a short break close to Cardiff.

A lovely adult only quiet rural site, some local road back ground noise but muted as you get further away,
A mixture of gravel hardstandings and grass pitches with a lovely owner who tends to leave you alone,
Things we liked we could choose our own pitch, electric and wifi was included in the £30 a night, electric coded gates.
Things that we weren't so keen on, no hand drying facilities in the toilets with cold only water in the sinks,
The toilet blocks were a little rustic, oh and a site map would have been useful as I managed to walk past a unmarked drinking water point to fill up.
That aside we enjoyed our stay and recommend the site

Lovely site - lots of space to pitch and a garden feel. Very friendly check-in. Shower/toilet block in timber building - very pleasant.
Small dog walk field. Due to the fact that we prefer not to drive once we have pitched up, the walk to the coastal path was a problem.
Quite a long stretch of very busy road with no pavement. Had to keep stopping with our dog to tuck in the verge to let traffic pass.
Enjoyed the coastal path along the estuary towards Newport.
Would be brilliant if the owners could negotiate some sort of footpath route to the coastal path.

What a delight this campsite is.
Lots of space in different areas, whether you like to be in a field or in hardstanding.
It is cared for with love, and has good clean showers and toilets, and a washing up area even with cooking facilities.
I shall certainly return.

Found this campsite as needed to visit relatives in Cardiff. Adults only & a very friendly & helpful couple who own it.
Pitches are good. Hard standing & flat. No probs siting caravan.
Showers/toilets/washing up are a bit quaint & rustic which adds to charm of campsite really as everything works ok. So worth a visit although the drive into Cardiff is a bit industrial.
To reach campsite from M4 ensure directions on campsite website are followed then access is no problem.
Security is good with code to open electric gates.
