First visit, but certainly not our last.
Lovely flat site, right on the edge of the forest.
Simple but clean facilities and a real welcome from the site owner.

Lovely, spacious, well kept and quiet. Decent and clean facilities.
Location is rural and informal, there is a cafe on site but we have not tried it yet.
Very dog friendly site, enclosed, large and safe, our dogs loved it.

What a great find,
The loveliest people,
Set in a quiet spot next to the woods,
What more could you want, maybe a teashop, but they have that too at weekends and holidays,
Was great service,
Will definitely be back here

Loved our stay here, lovely surroundings and nice and peaceful yet not to far away from shops etc.
Love the fact that you have plenty of space around you and not close to others.
The cost is very reasonable too
Lovely cafe too. Didn't use it but others on the site said It was great
Dog friendly
Definitely would recommend.
Hoping to book for next year very soon
Thank you

Cafe was lovely and really friendly service and good food - only open at weekends/ holidays.
We arrived late and the reception was welcoming and was really helpful.
Spacious pitches, all flat, adequate facilities and hot plentiful showers. 20ps needed for the showers.
Very remote peaceful farm location and a pub (Swan at Hilborough) within a quick car ride or longer bike ride- not walking distance.

Campsite was in a lovely location surrounded by woodland and countryside very peaceful and relaxing.
Facilities are basic but good. Owner very nice and frustrating.
Unfortunately the cafe/shop failed to be open when it was advertised so we missed out on a breakfast and trying the food there.

Lovely location. The pitches were very spacious. Good value for money.
Facilities were clean. Onsite cafe was great. Amazing waffles made from scratch and Claire was lovely, very friendly.
The reason for the low score for customer service was the welcome. When we have been to other campsites, someone would normally come over to welcome us and make sure we had found everything.
We will visit again as we had a lovely weekend.

I was a solo bike packing/touring and had pre-booked. I arrived and was welcomed and given advice on a good place to pitch in regard to the wind direction.
The site was, at that time, quiet, so there was plenty of choice. I was happy with the pitch. The toilets were good, and the shower. The shower needed a minimum of 3x20p pieces.
Thankfully I managed to get some change sorted with a near neighbour. There were plenty of water taps and, though irrelevant for me, electrical hook-up points.
The cafe/store was not open, which was a disappointment, considering it was early July. I slept well in my tent.
There was little traffic, but the peacocks were noisy in a nearby field.

We had a lovely stay at the campsite.
Clean facilities.
Friendly owners and easy communication.
The shower needs very specific coins so it needs a planning and good to know in advance.
Good spot for visiting Thetford forest.

We picked this site for a quiet break so did not plan on exploring too much. It was quiet and peaceful apart from the daily aircraft passing over from nearby airbases which was interesting.
Plenty of wildlife if you take time to look for it. Woodland walks a no go due to overgrown pathways but I am sure that a different time of year they would have been passable.
On site cafe /shop open a few hours each day bar two when the lady took some time off. Fresh food, cooked to order and a nice selection of cakes.
There is only one toilet per sex and the same for showers which cost 60p for 6 minutes but for the majority of our stay that was fine because other guests were out and about.
Both toilets and showers were clean. No hot water for hand washing or dish washing though.
Plenty of bins including recycling and dog waste.
Some people would find the remoteness a little off putting as walking anywhere is not easy with the narrow lanes and local farm traffic.
Welcome was friendly and we got to choose where to pitch up.
