Great place to get back to nature Dear, Birds, Peacocks, Pheasants, Partridge, and one or more rabbits!
Loads of lovely walks in the woods bike trails for miles and miles. Friendly atmosphere good price.
Facilities basic but adequate. My second visit hope to come again.
National Trust Oxburgh Hall just 4 miles up the road worth a visit.

Lovely spacious, peaceful campsite with loads of room for children.
Right next to the forest for access to long walks, and the fish and chip shop in Mundford was a hit!

The stay over the weekend was perfect with no major issues.
The campsite is in a very nice location with plenty of space to decide exactly where you’d like to set up camp.
Would definitely stay again.

Friendly welcome. Enormous flat field with forest on two sides and small lanes on the others.
Grass prone to rabbit attack, so watch your footing. We did not use the facilities so cannot comment other than to say they looked OK.
We felt the pitch price was already quite high so a bit much to charge for showers. Good forest walks from the site and easy to reach Grimes Graves, Thetford forest, Lynford Arboretum and the Desert Rats memorial.
The only downside was the proximity of three RAF airfields, we could hear jets taking off and returning (but all quiet on Friday to Sunday - obviously no war then).
We did visit the viewing area at Mildenhall, which was both interesting and ear-splitting.
Useful open air cafe open some days

Easy to find, quiet, friendly owners,
Had the novelty of a little cafe open from 8. 30-11. 00 for breakfast, & then 3pm-5pm for afternoon tea.
Facilities were basic but very clean.
The cost was value for money, there are 2 local pubs within 5mins drive, Thetford forrest close by.

Very happy with the campsite. Tina was great helpful about walks we could do and the cafe.
The site is a open field with electrical hook up in different places which was good.
Because we didn't want to pack up the camper and drive out for food.
You would been to sort a meal that night but at the weekend the cafe is open and was able to pre book a quiche salad which was lovely and freshly made scones with cream and jam

Really nice campsite.
Well kept clean facilities. With very friendly staff.
The breakfast from the kiosk was ok the coffee was particularly good.
Would be better if the wash up area had hot water but not a deal breaker.
Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful quiet site, lots of space and places to explore.
Can't comment about the on site facilities as we used our own.
A perfect weekend escape
