Fantastic site. Sarah is easy to deal with and very friendly.
Toilets and shower block always immaculate. Dish washing facilities a nice touch so you don't need to pack washing up bowls etc. These are located at various points around the site. Sarah has a well stocked shop with all the normal item stocked, as well as fresh bread. Freezer blocks can also be rented or your own ones refrozen. Charging of mobiles and iPads foc a great idea.
The site is located on the main road through Godshill, but don't let that put you. Off as you hear virtually no road noise. Ringwood is just a few mins away by car. Which has take always and a supermarket.
Easy travel to Bournemouth and unlike sites closer in Sarah was willing to take a one night booking, although we changed this to the full weekend before arrival. I would now book here before using bigger sites in Bounemouth.
Will be booking again next year for Air Festival weekend.

Just returned from a 6 night stay at this fab campsite. Flat spacious pitches but still with loads of room for the odd cricket or football match. Lots of dogs and lots of children which was perfect for us. Showers immaculate and nice and hot! I don't think anyone is a huge fan of portaloos but again, kept spotless and well stocked and the lights were a nice touch. Being next door to Sandy Balls means you can have the best of both worlds if you choose. We had a meal there and the staff were friendly. But didn't venture up in the evening. Rather choosing to stay by our tent and roast marshmallows on our fire pit! Sarah and her family can't do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble. The small shop on site sells the basics which is great when you don't want to venture out. There is a little noise from the road but it didn't bother us at all. And the no noise after 11:30pm was fab. It's a 5 minute walk into the forest which was great and Fordingbridge offered coffee shops and a great park where you can swim in the river. The New Forest Tour bus stops up the road which makes a great day out too. All in all it was a great camp site in a great place. Shame it's not open for longer as we'll definitely be back.

We picked Chapelfield for a first camping experience with our three kids aged 9, 7 and 5. We couldn't have picked a better slot. The loos were immaculately clean (and had plenty of loo roll), the showers were hot, the washing-up area perfectly organised with brushes, liquid, hot water and draining racks. For a campsite that is only open 28 days a year this is amazing. Sarah and her friend go out of their way to make you so welcome. We shall be back again!

I had such a lovely time staying at this campsite last year. The site is well run and organised but very laid back and one of a few sites where you are allowed to have fires (in fire pits off the ground). The site is located off the main road so no traffic noise and less than a 10 minute walk from the pub in case of rain!
There are dozens of beautiful walks and hikes directly from the campsite and you don't need to use your car from the moment you arrive. It's a traditional campsite, the way they should be, friendly, safe and quite.
Clean, hot showers, a lovely lady that runs it with amazing local knowledge, just quiz her on anything!
We will be returning this year.

There is a big field, a lot of place, facilities are clean, people are nice, there's a good walking just off the site.
But :
1- when you're looking for a lonely place really quiet like it looks, it's a disappointment to discover you're just close to a big place called Sandy Ball, with the screams of the children at the end of the afternoon.
2- it's very expensive for a person alone, especially when you consider the porta-loo facilities : I paid 16 £ a night for one person, tent and motorbike.
It's not bad, but it's not wonderfull.

We went for a weekend of camping at Chapelfields and a fantastic time (4adults/4children/1dog). A really well run site with fantastic hot showers and washing up water and facilities to do so. The porta-loos are kept really clean and plenty of them. There is not a bad place to pitch, all are good.
Sarah the owner is really helpful and runs a little shop in the mornings for fresh croissants and eggs etc.
Can't recommend highly enough, really great camping with roaming donkeys on your doorstep (not in your field!). We will be back. Andy, Claire, Jon and Teresa.

Fabulous campsite and and lovely hospitality. Going again this summer. Quiet and very pretty location. Spacious, dry field. Very personal, friendly welcome and clear instructions. Easy booking through Sarah with email and PayPal. Walking distance to a great pub. Beautiful and quiet part of the forest but easy driving to Salisbury. Good, basic, clean showers and bathroom facilities. I can highly recommend.

This is a great site, really friendly and helpful owners and great location. Lovely quiet field, close to a pub which is a 5 minute walk. Daughter loved the Ponies & Donkies wandering down the village road just out side the site gate.
Campsite is very clean with great, hot showers and individual washrooms and fully stocked exceptionally clean portaloos.
Free use of freezer to re freeze packs, bin bags provided, Hot washing up facilities with free liquid all make for a great camp site
Chapelfield site is right on the edge of the new forest with easy access to shops, attractions, bike hire etc. Wild life nature reserve at end of field. Plenty of room for children to play.
Would recommend this site to families, small groups, couples alike.
