Fantastic site. It’s the attention to detail that matters.
The owners are campers so know what is needed for a great stay.
Level serviced pitches. Excellent shower block, individual toilet and shower, piped music and loads of hot water.
Close by lovely walks and cycle routes.
Easy access to bus routes.
Lovely bar to socialise with other campers.
Bird watching from the hide was a great touch with binoculars provided.
Thank you Pinecones we WILL be back. !

The campsite was nice and quiet at this time of the year, which was expected being just out of season. We had booked in advance and upon arrival found the reception closed, but with instructions readily available on how to find our pitch.
We had a welcome pack with our name on which was great and came with some good information on local walks and much more.
The pitches were well cared for hard standings, with EHU. They were level and of ample size for an 8 metre motorhome. Some had picnic shelters on, which was a nice touch. Ours was a more basic pitch but we still had a family sized picnic bench.
The toilets and showers were lovely, individual combined units consisting of showers, wash basins and loo. All kept immaculate and warm.
We chose to do one of the walks recommended from the site information, into the Sandringham Estate. It was a very pleasant and easy walk, initially at the side of a small housing estate, but eventually leading into pretty woodland with an abundance of wild deer.
Sandringham's visitor centre had places to eat, drink and shop, with toilets available, but the house and gardens were closed until Easter. But, it was still a pleasant place to relax for a while.
We found the local pub 'The Feathers' but it looked closed. This was not the case, we looked through the windows and spotted some dull lights from one of them, we checked the doors, and it was to our surprise indeed open.
On the morning that we left the site, reception was open and we found the lady in there to be really nice. She was obviously very proud of the site, she even gave us a sneak preview of the new bar due to be open for Easter.
I am sure that this will be a great addition to the already good facilities.

This was our first ever outing in our new to us caravan. The site was perfect for our needs.
Our two dogs loved it and there are plenty of walks to go on.
The toilet block was lovely. Very clean and great facilities.
My two boys had a great time exploring. We had a bit of trouble hitching up when leaving but the staff went out of their was to help us out.
We will visit again.
Great location for the coast and Sandringham Estate.

Very roomy pitches,
Really inexpensive considering the electric was part of it.
Luxury ensuite-type shower and toilet facilities.
Only shame was the shop wasn’t open longer during peak season!

We had a really enjoyable weekend stay at Pinecones - we booked a serviced pitch which was great and also had a picnic hut. The site was really flat and well maintained. The play area was great and we also had a breakfast at Norfolk Nibbles which was great (good quality food and really fresh bread).
The main toilet/shower blocks were great - really liked that they each had a toilet, sink and shower and had be recently done up.
It would be much better if the disabled toilet could be accessed by a radar key (most disabled people have these) which would mean I could use the toilet when I needed to. From an accessibility point of view, everyone should be able to access facilities without needing to find staff and get a different key.
This wasn't mentioned on the self check in information which would be helpful. I ended up asking for help from Norfolk Nibbles (who are a catering company and not part of the site) who were able to find a member of staff to get the key. I did try to provide some feedback, but the member of staff didn't seem to understand.
The disabled facilities weren't big enough for me to get my wheelchair into, so I was unable to use them :-( There also appeared to be some additional kit in the bathroom which took up space. It wasn't renovated like the other facilities.
Overall a really nice stay, which would be excellent with a bit of TLC for the disabled toilet.

What a great find this site was. Situated between Sandringham and RSPB Snettisham on the Wash, this site is perfect for walking to both.
The pitches seemed mostly fully serviced, they even do a campervan pitch that was easily big enough for our 6. 0m van, including our own picnic table and benches.
The facilities, which are self contained bathrooms with toilet, were well maintained and reasonably warm.
In short, this is everything we look for in an independent campsite, well maintained, good location, great price,
We will be back again.

Nice site, not too big, love the individual bathrooms and the pitches are extremely flat- no levelling required at all on ours.
Staff very helpful, shop closed at 4pm but It was not peak season.
Close to a busy road but quiet overnight.
No bar on site but booze for sale in the shop.

The campsite was close to beaches. It was well maintained.
The bathrooms and wash up areas were clean.
The kids play area was great for the little one.
A must visit if you want to stay at a beautiful campsite in Kings Lynn.
Highly recommended

When we arrived we were encouraged to vote them 5 star in order the owner would reward them. This is not a five star campsite, far from it.
Our pitch and neighbouring pitches had mole infestation and clearly nothing was being done to address this.
The toilet/shower rooms were smelly and the floor always wet so that sitting on the toilet meant your clothes would get wet. The push button shower only stayed on for 5 seconds so you had to keep the button in with one hand and try and wash with the other. The shower block behind the reception was locked so out of action.
The full serviced pitches were along one side of the campsite and adjacent to a very busy and noisy road.
The shop was limited with its choices and expensive.
A nearby Coop was a twenty minute walk away as were the bus services.
All in all we were disappointed with our stay.

Camp site is a work in progress, when we arrived the JCB and the road roller were very busy, making lots of noise.
This was on a Saturday, coupled with the constant road noise from the very busy road right alongside the touring pitches it was not the quiet type of site.
The site is also very open, and the wind whips across the place, site will be better in few years when things settle down and maybe hedges are more established.
