Just spent 9 nights at Pinecones and cannot fault the site, some people complain regarding the road noise but we soon got used to it. The private bathrooms were fantastic with heated towel rail, wc, wash basin and shower.
The warden is a trained chef and prepares food from a small unit on site morning and night and is well worth the money, would recommend the pizzas.
The only fault I would say is that it could be sign posted better from the main road as you could easy pass it.

My husband, my twin teenagers and myself spent two nights here in one of their pods. The pod itself was clean and nice but very snug, by the time you opened the beds there was a little walkway to get out and that's it but as the weather was good it didn't really matter. The showers and toilets were first class, heated, clean and had radio playing in them. The camp site was clean but you could hear traffic from the road next to the site. There was a play area but we didn't use it. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a chip van there on Friday night.

Just had 3 nights at this site, good friendly welcome, shown to our pitch, the site runs a one way system which works very well.
The toilet/showers were individual, I did worry about there being enough for, the whole site as it was nearly full, but I never had to wait, plenty of hot water, extremely warm heated towel rail a big bonus, when we used them they were spotless.
Site is not in a public transport route and taxis do need to be booked in advance. I've noticed other people have commented about the road noise, yes you can hear it if you stop and listen but it didn't bother us at all.
We had no children with us so can't comment on the child friendliness of this site.

Just returned from a two night stay at pinecones
We had a lovely time despite it being march and cold!
On site facilities are great lovely warm showers and private bathrooms with plenty of room to get dressed etc.
Friendly staff and site wardens which is always nice, Some road noise but didn't bother us.
All in all a nice site helpful staff who try hard to keep everyone happy with events like Easter egg hunts for the kids.
Will return and recommend to anyone who wants a campsite in a great location for hunstanton and lots of other lovely places in the area.

Had a lovely 2 nights stay, we were welcomed by Sharon who is great and she showed us to our pitch. This site is perfect for walking and is close to local beaches. Shower blocks were spotless and well designed and we will return.

We stayed on this site for one week this is a new site with lovely warm showers and toilets, the staff where very friendly and willing to help with anything. The pitches were level and graveled and with plenty of space on each pitch. There was a busy road next to the site but to be honest it really didn't bother us at all.
There are plenty of walks from the site we walked to the beach which took about 2 hours each way but it was a lovely sunny day and not even a breeze so we thoroughly enjoyed it and if you like wild life its stunning, there is also a local resident Barn Owl which we saw on a daily basis
On the down side We paid in full for the week Email confirmation confirmed we had paid for one week on a serviced pitch with electric but when we arrived for our stay one of the wardens swiped a card on the electric post and said there is £20 so when it runs out you will have to top it up, but as we only use low wattage appliances we didn't think it would run out so fast. We were both a bit shocked at this as we saw nothing on their website that said anything about metered Electric and the £20 only lasted four nights, we became increasingly paranoid about the Electric as we didn't want to run out during the night, basically we where charged £5 per night extra for Electric, we also chatted to another customer on the park who arrived in the evening for one night and he had a small camper-van and said ran out of Electric at 6 am. This ruined it for us really as we had to keep checking to see how much we had left, sadly for this reason we will not be returning to this site

We visited this site on the 22nd of December and stayed for 11 nights. What a lovely site. The toilet and showers are all in separate cubicles and are also heated no matter what time of day or night. The wardens who live on site seem to go the extra mile to make your stay more comfortable. There is some road noise but you soon get used to it. There is a local supermarket close by and a couple of pubs which we didn't try but was informed are quite good and also served food. There is plenty to see and do in the area with Sandringham being just down the road. All in all very nice site and will be using again in the near future I will make sure I have got plenty of gas next time.

This site is predominantly gravel hard standing with grass strips separating good sized pitches.
The play area is small suitable for under 8yrs. No free space to play except empty pitches.
The toilet facilities were of a high standard.
As others have said this is a new site but perhaps they should have waited until next season. Shop had necessities but plenty of empty shelves so didn't look good. Still a lot of patchy shrubs and weeds and two areas within pitches of large holes were protected by metal fences. If you want a quiet get away from it site, this is not for you. Sat facing metal fencing while having continual traffic noise does not lend itself to what I would expect of a camping experience.
It is convenient for Hunstanton but other campsites near by provide a more relaxing atmosphere.

We have just returned from a six night stay at Pinecones. It is a lovely site and in a great spot for exploring Norfolk without travelling to far. Staff were always friendly, happy and willing to help. The pitches were very clearly marked out.
As the site has only been open for a few weeks, some work was still been done but this didn't affect our stay.
The kids enjoyed using the play park and a space around it. The toilets and showers were always warm and clean. Never had to wait to use one- always a bonus! We didn't use the shop on site but it looked like there was a good selection.
The site is next to a busy road but you do get used to it fairly quickly.
Overall we had a fab stay near and it was prefect for exploring Norfolk. Staff and other campers were all friendly.
If we come back to Norfolk for another holiday we would consider using the site again.

Unfortunately the site was not finished and we spent time with various workmen and diggers. The finished toilets and showers were fantastic, beautifully presented and very warm. They finished the shop as we were leaving and this looked well stocked. The owner was very apologetic at the unfinished sections and was working hard to get everything sorted asap.
I am sure it will be a fantastic site when complete, however nothing can prepare you for the noise of the A149 which is a very busy road with traffic at all parts of the day.
