 I really liked this site!
It's very small compared with many C&CC sites, and the facilities block is quite old-fashioned, but everything works and it's spotless, and it's a bit less 'corporate' than some of the bigger sites.
Also no hard standing gives it a proper camping feel.
It's very convenient for Norwich, and there's a nice old railway line walking and cycling route into the city, past a Sainsbury's.
It's also easy to get out into the southern Broads. Don't miss the Flint Barn at Willington Country Park - excellent scones!

Located a short distance (6 minute drive) from Norwich city centre, yet with a rural feel, the walled campsite is pleasantly surrounded by trees and wildlife (we enjoyed watching a woodpecker and hedgehog from our caravan window).
The site is grassy, flat and the clientele were mostly campervans scattered around the field. There was loads of space.
Staff were welcoming and helpful and as the site wasn't busy allowed us a late check out.
The facilities were spotless; toilets, showers and washing up all available.
Others have commented on the train and road noise. This was not a problem for us. We heard three trains gently rumble by during our stay. And very little road noise. If you're staying in a city some traffic is to be expected.
We pleased to have found this gem of a campsite and will definitely be back.

Ideally located for visiting family in Norwich. Grass only pitches.
Facilities could do with an upgrade but clean.
Make sure you check the way you get into the site, there is a low bridge and it’s a bit tight getting into the site.
Helpful wardens getting us onto our pitch but need to make sure when booking to let them know if you have a wider/long unit.
Good dog walk along the river.
Some noise from the trains running either side of the site but didn’t bother us too much.
Would go back again.

As others have mentioned, this is an excellent site for visiting Norwich and the surrounding areas.
The facilities are dated and lacking in individual washrooms and only 2 showers available in both the ladies and men’s blocks. Having said that, we couldn’t fault the cleanliness of them and even the mop and bucket with water were spotless.
Walking into the centre of Norwich was easy, the nicest way being along the disused railway line which is now a beautiful and peaceful walk. This can be found near the Asda or Aldi which is about 10 minutes walk from the site.
As it’s very close to several main roads I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is.
A lovely site and worth visiting.

Very well kept site with friendly cheerful wardens.
Pitch was great, facilities spotless despite site being extremely busy.
Location excellent with bus stop directly outside site to Cromer, Sheringham or Holt.

This is an excellent little site, ideally situated for visiting Norwich.
The site team were very friendly and helpful.
The facilities are good, but probably could do with a few more to cope with busy periods.

This site is in a convenient location for exploring Norwich, the Broads and the Norfolk coast.
We've stayed twice so far while visiting family nearby.
The first time we took two young boys and were disappointed that there was nowhere to kick a ball around or run off their energy in the small site.
The second time we came without them and found it much more suited to our needs (a more elderly couple!).
The railway line runs quite close which may disturb some people.

A small site on the outskirts of Norwich, it is a popular site for this and Dutch travellers. The facilities need upgrading as this an old site but kept clean by the teams who are helpful and friendly. There is a bus route close by as well a small shop and Fish and chip shop, as well as an anglers shop, fishing is available on the river close to the site. Out of the site there is a Public house across the field about 1. 7 miles or by bike, there is a cycle track to the city centre and is available on modern phones. One warning two low bridges are close to this site so be careful which way come here.

A lovely warm welcome on arrival from the wardens, who offered suggestions for local attractions, beaches etc. The site is kept beautifully, the flower displays are so colourful and pretty. The shower and toilet block are spotless, with plenty of hot water always available. Little shop on site for supplies that opens daily. It a nice steady walk into Norwich city centre from the site. We booked this site to visit national trust properties and it was ideal.
Reading some reviews before booking, some reviewers had been less than kind, but please don't be put off by negative report, relating to the facilities.
Although the site was busy, the only noise was from the train track behind the campsite, but that was intermittent. We would recommend this site to anyone who likes to relax on a lovely campsite, and would like to visit this lovely city of Norwich

We have just spent an enjoyable week at this site. As the site is on the edge of Norwich it is rather noisy. It is between two railway lines and there is quite a lot of car noise. Saying that this wouldn't stop us returning.
The site is small and has a lot of trees, some pitches are completely under trees and this makes it rather dark. We had a pitch in the middle which was lighter.
The facilities are exactly what you would expect on a C&CC site, hot water, clean and I never had to wait to use them.
Plenty to do in the area we visited RAF Museum, Grimes Graves, Oxburgh Hall, Castle Acre and spent a day in Norwich. There were many other things we didn't have time for.
We will certainly revisit the area and would happily stay at this site again
