Absolutely beautiful site, with lovely wardens!
Plenty of EHU and water points with disposal points a little further away.
So quiet, friendly and welcoming! - Don't tell too many others so it stays that way!
We will be back! (Again!).

A beautiful, quiet and well maintained site. The wardens are very friendly and helpful.
Toilets and showers are immaculately clean.
Well situated for exploring the area. Although no shop on site there is a supermarket and a frequent market along the road in Leyburn.
There is a pub across the road from entrance serving food but is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Definitely returning to this site. 10/10

We spent a few nights here so we could explore a few places we wanted to visit nearby, and do some walks.
Middleham castle was fascinating, in a lovely small town. Aysgarth Falls are stunning: the car park and visitor centre were crowded but you don't have to go far for peace and quiet.
We were only a few minutes drive from Leyburn with a good selection of pubs, cafes and independent shops
Campsite facilities were very good, spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water etc.
Most of the pitches are seasonal, meaning the site was very quiet in the week, but filled up at the weekend.
We were guided onto our pitch to ensure that we were correctly placed on the slabs. I imagine the site could become very muddy in wet weather.

Lovely site, with lovely wardens too, nothing seemed to be too much for them!
Site itself is spacious, lots of EHU but far less water points.
On this fairly large sites there are only 3 disposal sections, a further one up at the top end would have been ideal!
A great staging point to explore the dales. We will be back! 😁

Liked: wardens very friendly, toilets/showers kept clean and warm, lots to do in the area. Grass pitches kept cut and tidy.
Hotel across road good food (if a bit expensive).
Laundry facilities on site
Disliked: Nowhere to walk directly from site as on busy road, “dog walk” short lane at side of site. Power supply very reduced when site busy. Some pitches extremely uneven. Ladies showers water runs through to next one - not pleasant to get feet covered in someone’s soapy water.

Well located for the Yorkshire Dale's, Facilities are more than adequate.
There are a lot of seasonal pitches and around 40 bookable pitches.
Wardens Barbara and Tony very helpful and always willing to help.

Nice quiet site, though it looked like it could get busy in summer. Lovely welcome from staff when we arrived and pitches, (grass), had plenty of space and water points close if needed.
Toilet blocks were good, very clean with hot showers.
Washing MC and tumble drier seemed god value, (didn't use them).
Ate at the Wyvil arms which was good though a bit pricey.
Walked to Jervaux abbey, (12 mile round trip), for lunch to find the cafe now permanently closed which was a disappointment.
All in a very pleasant weekend. £24 per night.

I had to come on here to leave a review of this park. What a hidden gem. It is absolutely beautiful with lovely surroundings.
Some of the best toilet blocks we have seen. So quiet as well. And exceptionally clean.
We stayed in a pod there are plenty of these ranging from a basic one to a super deluxe. Great position to camp with others in a tent or in a caravan.
It has a small shop and bar on site. The bar is well stocked and has a family area. With plenty of goodies behind the bar for the kids. A snooker table for 16+. A tv showing sports which was a hit.
Included in the price is free access to the grounds for burton constable hall or a half price ticket to get into the house. We had a lovely day there and they have a super cafe and gift shop all just a short walk from the site. And performances on the lawn in the summer.
The staff in reception and in the bar are so friendly and helpful. With the added bonus of food being served on the weekend outside of the bar.
We also saw people fishing but can’t speak about that as none of us used the fishing lake.
It also has a lovely play park for the kids well situated.
All in all a lovely site only 35 minutes to Bridlington or 15 min to Hornsea if you like the seaside.
We will most certainly return to this lovely place.

Very friendly welcome and guided onto pitch. Given guide to Yorkshire Dales, which we had not visited before and loved to explore.
Lovely quiet site, except for first night (Saturday) when there was a function at the Hall, with loud music until midnight.
Toilets and showers 1 in one out due to Covid, but not a problem at that time.
Lovely, well cared for site, spacious pitches, well spaced, due to uneven ground.
Advice always given when asked, hope to go again soon.
