This is a lovely campsite set amongst trees giving lots of shelter from wind.
It has a nice cafe and small gift shop on site. The staff are friendly.
The wifi works fine. Sensible cost of £11. 50 a night for one plus a small tent.
The toilets were okay. But the shower cubicles could do with a clean. Dirty windows. Spiders webs. Condensation drips on the ceiling.
A very quiet campsite.
I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the Inverness area.

Our intention was to have a few days walking in the hills and Cannich seemed ideally suited to access many trails.
The site has many trees between the pitches and being at the end of the season we found many to choose from, however, we decided to camp at the biggest one, although it was also probably the muddiest!
There was quite a selection of campervans, caravans, pods and tents on site, all at different parts so there was not the regimented order sometimes found.
There is a well-kept toilet block, including showers, with a laundry and waste disposal in the same block. A sitting room with a rudimentary library is also available for those rainy days. In front of this block is a small playground with climbing frame and slide.
Behind the block is the reception where bikes may be hired. Also on site is a Cafe, not part of the site, which was closed for the end of season.
Unfortunately, in Cannich, the local pub and restaurant was also closed for the end of season although the local store was open and had an outside cafe space for coffees etc.
Apart from walking and cycling Cannich is well centred for other tourist attractions found at either end of Loch Ness or the West Coast and as such the site will be visited again.

When we visited the drive down from Beauly was stunning with the trees all in autumn colour.
The site is well kept but shows signs of age. The facilities are a bit tired but as clean as we have seen. Good hot showers but dreaded push buttons. A good indoor washing up area and laundry.
Pitches are hardstanding or grass with electric, plenty of choice under trees, in the open etc.
Cafe a real bonus and still open daily in October.
We drove to Glen Affric viewpoint, good road with plenty of passing places. Car park costs £2 and some good walks. A little further back is a free carpark and the 'hill walk' easier than some of the more strenuous walks with incredible views.
Spar 500 yards away sells pretty much everything under the sun it's brilliant. Next door to that is a pub serving meals.
Loved our stay here and will come back again.
We thought £25 per night including electric and showers excellent for location and site.

Have been most years since 2006 as its a fabulous campsite.
Relaxing, laid back, never over crowded.
Hard standings or grass with electric all spread out among the trees and shrubs, good for an assortment of birds.
Not regimental like some sites who could do with taking take a leaf out of this owners book Facilities are excellent.
Owners are very friendly and helpful and always on hand. They will reserve a particular pitch for you if you have a preference.
Shower, wc, washing machine, sitting room and campsite cafe available.
Night charges are not over the top like some other sites.
Village is nice with a shop, post office and pub.
Will continue coming back as long as we are fit and able to do so.

Beautiful beach and plenty of clean loos and hot showers.
Make sure you bring pound coins for the showers and cash for the payment as cards not accepted and no info about the campsite on booking.
Friendly campsite manager.

A great site in a lovely part of the country. Easy to find and easy access. The staff are friendly and helpful and aided me into my pitch.
The toilet and showering facilities were very good under current climate.
You use the ladies for the showers and the gents for the toilets. Although, it may sound a pain but in fact works well if a family go all together. Some of the campers couldn't quite work it out! Causing queues.
I would recommend this site and area, especially for the countless walks at all levels.

Lovely setting among trees at Glen Afric. Quiet even though most pitches were occupied when we were there, plenty room between pitches, lovely laid back atmosphere.
Toilets and showers were restricted to 1 person/family at a time but there was little need for queuing and sanitiser gel was on the wall outside every communal area. Staff worked constantly to clean regularly as well.
Very nice on site cafe catering for all tastes, ours being breakfast bacon rolls!

Had another night in one of the two camping pods. Really like this site. Camping pods are basic but solid and clean as are the facilities. Pitches for tents and campervans look good.
Pod has picnic table outside and I collected dead wood from around the site to get a wonderful camp fire going.
Lovely wooded site with lots of bird song. Friendly welcome.

Nice site, good sized pitches and great to have electric and water at pitch. Easy to drive over motorhome grey waste emptying area too. Very family friendly place, though if you want peace and quiet, avoid pitches around the children's play area. Dog friendly. There is a cafe on site though we didn't use this. Facilities spotless. Informallly laid out site in small forested area.
I would go back, but own preference would be off season, as I can imagine it's popular with families and potentially a bit noisy.
Cannich has a pub and shop within easy walking distance of the site. The pub is dog friendly.
Great central area for exploring the glens of Affric, Cannich and the very lovely strathfarrar.
Free wifi is a bonus.
Didn't quite however have a getaway from it all feeling as site is fenced off from people's homes at one side.
