This is a 5 star site! Our first visit and we will definitely return.
We arrived to be greeted by Donna and her son who showed us to our pitch and Donna dropped past later with some guide books for the area. She also provided a comprehensive leaflet into which she had incorporated loads of useful, helpful information.
The pitches as nice and big and you get too look at the vista, not the caravan beside you. You get a spectacular night sky when its clear. The peace and quite of the site is so relaxing, nice and easy to sit and read or you could enjoy the pool. The owners have put in such a lot of thought into what is available on site.
We had the added bonus of temperature well into the 30s and were advised to park the caravan away from the hedge to allow a shaded area behind where we could sit when the sun came round.
We didn't have a serviced pitch, but water, grey water and toilet dump were all within easy access and the areas were all clean and tidy. The showers were lovely and clean and easy to operate.
Being asked whether you wanted croissants pain au chocolate, pain au raisin or bread the next day was definitely an added bonus. Oh, those fresh croissants in the morning. Lovely! The small honesty shop was a real bonus, offering chilled water and a variety of drinks to purchase, along with some basic items. The shop also has lots of information leaflets on the area.
For those who store there caravans on site, the owners also offer an awning pitching/put down service. What could be better after travelling from the UK, to find your caravan on the pitch and the awning up, letting you fairly quickly sit and relax.
Donna & Matt should be very proud of their hard work, Camping-Le- Serpolin is an absolute gem.

Le Serpolin Camping-continues to evolve and give, without losing its charm.
This review reiterates and adds to my previous reviews of the site.
Recently spent 4 lovely weeks on a large serviced pitch. Donna and Matt are friendly and helpful hosts, without intrusion.
The showers and toilet facilities are of a high standard and kept spotless. The Tuck shop, fresh eggs and daily delivery of bread and pastries add to the experience.
Including the convenience of good WiFi. Not to mention the arranged free local wine tours !
Le Serpolin BBQ's are good social occasions with a chance to meet other campers.
In 2022 a lovely new heated pool was installed and is perfect for those hot days.
The shady pond is a great place to spend time fishing or just relaxing. The countryside is ideal for walking and cycling. The whole site is very open and spacious with beautiful sunsets.
Also the lovely 3 bedroomed Gite is perfect for extended family holidays.
Caravan Storage here is safe, convenient and economical, saving miles of stressful, expensive towing from the UK. I have happily stored here for more than 10 years.
Store, Collect and Travel, or just Store, Stay and Enjoy !

A first class site, , pitches are huge and kept to a very very high standard. Only 4 pitches all with water outlets.
Each pitch will benefit from your own toilet and shower room again kept to a very high standard.
The pool is lovely and this adult only sites benefits with lovely views, peace and quiet.
The hosts are very welcoming don't miss out on the meal on Sunday, a great way to meet your fellow holidaymakers thanks so much for making our weekend break so worthwhile

We both really enjoyed the tranquility of the area.
The site is spacious and very clean.
The swimming pool although small was fantastic, showers and toilets very clean.
The addition tuck shop was an unexpected bonus.
Donna Marie is a very attentive host, nothing was to much trouble.
Thank you for the lift to and from the vineyard.
Definitely one to return to.

What a great site, 16 pitches, half of which are fully serviced.
Amenities block for ladies and gents, each with 2 wc's, 2 wash basins with fresh towels and 2 showers, free flowing, no push button. Outside undercover pot washing area, small shop selling basic goods and ice cream, all done on honesty basis.
Donna came round daily for bread/croissant order, which were delivered to pitch.
Heated swimming pool. Donna and Matt organised on site BBQ's which were great and also arranged a free wine tasting at local chateau, with no obligation to buy.
Donna and Matt were always available with advice on where to visit and to help with any problems that might occur.
Car needed to get about but local quiet country roads for cycling/ walking.
Would definitely return.

Absolutely love this place. Have visited many times in the last few years.
It is a real home from home.
This year the new addition of large heated swimming just made the site even more perfect. Such friendly, helpful owners.
Peace and tranquility, miles from the busy rat race.
Will be back again soon.

Lovely site with swimming pool, small shop with honesty box for ice creams and a few essentials.
We stayed in the gite which was really nice with a veranda and a lovely view. Donna and Matt were the owners, so friendly and very helpful.
There was a trip to a local vineyard which included wine tasting, very interesting and enjoyable.
We will definitely be going back again for another holiday

Lovely quiet site with great owners who were so helpful.
The site has the level of services you’d expect on British campsites ie loo rolls toilet seats and soap!
We would have stayed longer but did not have the time.

I recently returned from spending 3 lovely refreshing weeks at this tranquil place, Le Serpolin, where we continue to conveniently and safely store our caravan.
This was a much needed spell of 'Time out' after the past year of Covid anxiety and restrictions.
I felt safe there.
This review confirms and reiterates my previous review of 2018. I have visited every year.
Donna-Marie and Matt continue to be wonderful hosts. They were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially regarding the current local and international restrictions and requirements.
Our caravan had been serviced as requested prior to my trip, and was ready for my arrival on a service pitch. As always the facilities were kept spotless.
The plunge pool was most welcome on the really hot days. Donna-Marie and Matt's complimentary and sympathetic ongoing plans for the site include a larger heated pool, hopefully ready for next year.
The fresh free-range eggs from the newly resident chickens were really good ! and the bread delivery a bonus. The lovely 3 bedroom Gite has proved very popular this year.
Watching the birds of prey by day and the black starry night skies continue to fascinate. Cyclists and walkers enjoy the quiet roads. Another good local restaurant was discovered. The wine produced at the local Cave is well worth a taste ! Donna-Marie arranged the free interesting vineyard visit with the producers, where up to 17 wined could be sampled, (with no obligation to buy).
I look forward to returning next year to this special site and family.

This was our 5th visit, over a few years.
Matt and Donna have made many improvements during their tenure.
The san facs are excellent and the site is maintained to a high standard.
There is much to see and do in the area and we will return!
