Site lovely and clean with helpful staff - beautiful views of loch and near to amenities.

Close by to activities and wild swimming.

Would definitely go here again!

Very pleasant site overlooking the Loch.

Vicky and Steve the wardens were more than helpful and very pleasant.

Lots to do in Poolewe and Gairloch.

Inverewe Gardens are just a short walk away, 10mins. The beaches are stunning.

We will definitely return to this site

Cracking site, in a location to die for.

Very helpful staff, who would help with anything.

Facilities were clean and tidy.

Recommended and will likely return when I visit the West Coast of Scotland again.

 Small C&CC site.

Pitches mostly surrounded by trees.

It was very wet when we were there and some pitches had lots of standing water.

Facilities were ok but fairly dated male showers nearest us none of the shower doors locked?

Village has shop and coffee shop.

Easy walk to superb nearby botanical gardens, full of exotic plants and large trees, Its a Scottish national trust property and well worth a visit.

 Fabulous location overlooking Loch Inverewe.

The site itself was stunning - plants and flowers everywhere and lovely staff greeted us at reception, with Tommy showing us in pouring rain to our pitch.

Very clean toilet and shower block and a chip van on site for 3 hours every Saturday evening.

Couldn’t have been better.

This is a very pleasant site on Loch Ewe. Many of the pitches have views or partial views of the loch and there are plenty of trees so a nice setting. Well spaced neat pitches (although it wasn't full when we were there) and a quiet vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Some drawbacks were: toilet/shower block although very clean needs a refurb, it has very narrow toilet cubicles and is dated. Couldn't get wi-fi. The fenced in water tap needs a dropped kerb.

Local hotel is not open to non residents currently so there is nowhere for an evening meal or drink in walking distance. Nearest would be Gairloch c. 6 miles away. We also found opening days/hours for businesses in the area were a bit random and unreliable.

It's peak season but things don't seem to be up to speed, probably staffing issues.

There are a few places for light bites and coffee and cake locally including Bridge Cottage Tearoom, Inverewe Gardens cafe and the cake cabin just past the campsite (highly recommend this lady!) A chip van comes on a Sat evening - OK but way too salty.

There's also a local doing Asian take aways some evenings - see local posters, about £10 for huge portion of curry and rice, might serve 2!

Poolewe has a Mace shop which sells most things. Fresh sourdough bread for sale at the tearoom (£4. 50) The village hall has a good Tuesday market with produce and crafts. Inverewe Gardens are an easy walk away (£3 parking) and worth a visit (£13?).

Boat trips available from there some days (£30). Fantastic walks like the Kernsary Circuit from the village. The local beach is stony but sandy beaches are a short drive away plus day trips to waterfalls, Applecross peninsula, Ullapool etc possible.

Fantastic location on the shore of Loch Ewe, only separated by a not too busy road, which is absolutely quiet after 9:00 p. M.

Inverewe Garden, shop, cafe and pub all within 10 min. Walking distance.

Site is very well maintained, staff absolutely friendly and very helpful. Toilet block always clean, but could use a good refurbishment.

There is nothing much for younger children on this site - without nature and the site itself.

It‘s our 4th visit to this site, will certainly return.

Not for tents, campsite set up for and cater for campervans, arrived at campsite and was given a pitch surrounded by campervans, tent pegs would not go in as stones /gravel 2 inch below grass, No where to sit outside tent,

Free wifi was not working and was still not working when I left 3 days later. When I complained that this site is charging top price £25 per night and treats people in tents like second class citizens, their idea of dealing with a complaint was to be rude and aggressive towards me and telling me I could leave if I wanted, yes at 7 pm I was going to pack everything back on my motorcycle and go and find another site.

If they are going to charge tents such a high price then provide top facilities and send your staff on a customer relations course.

Will not be using this campsite again.

Site location is stunning. Customer service was exceptional.

Campsite had everything you'd expect and facilities functional but starting to look tired.

My friend and I stayed one night.
