 Pleasant little site amenities dated but clean and functional, very quiet site ideal for recharging your batteries,
Elsan point, fresh water, showers, toilets, washing facilities, secure access,
Contact owner when you arrive to get gate code and toilet code,
Site is all grass so need to be mindful of weather, can park near to access road but will need an extra long EHU cable, owner can provide if yours isnt long enough,
10 minute walk into town by road or a 15 minute stroll if you take the footpath beside theriver, access over stile on rear fence of site and down some steps,
Wardens can be contacted by phone number in various locations round the site,
Annan is on bus route between Dumfries and Carlisle if you wish to visit.
Very handy stop over if heading along south west Scotland.
Would use again if travelling that part of the country

A lovely little camp site not far from Gretna outlets which was exactly what we wanted.
Ground was well looked after it was dry the day we arrived but never stopped raining from then on. Margaret told us not to worry about conditions as they could tow us out if necessary, I thought that was nice to know. We had an awning the ground was ideal for pegs.
Toilets/shower was very clean. There was dish washing facilities and a washing machine.
A great little site for true campers wanting the basics. Good communication from Margaret.

Nice site, it was basic, but also very good value.
Margaret was very helpful on arrival and lent us an extra long electric lead.
Very convenient for Annan town centre.

Great little site.
Margaret was lovely and friendly as was everyone. Will stop again when passing through.
Lovely walks along the riverbank and not far from Gretna Green.

Site is lovely showers nice and hot,
Margaret is lovely and friendly,

Great site clean & tidy
Margret was very friendly and helpful
Close to town centre
Will go back again
Pet friendly
Very reasonable price
Weather was really good
They had rain before we went so ground was soft but Margaret helped us out by parking up near the top and lending us a long hook up so we still had electric

We really enjoyed our stay at Galabank, Margaret was a great host and the camp was quiet and very well presented.
Annan was only a short walk away and very dog friendly,
Would definitely recommend The Shed and Anglers for refreshments, a must for a short stay for all you van lifers

A pleasant site with easy walk by the river and taking you into the town in about 15mins.
Facilities are fairly basic, but clean and do the job. Cheap and cheerful.

Well situated site for a break in Annan.
Very free and easy site with good clean facilities, although Ladies toilets were a bit hard to access. Gents facilities were very good and clean.
Overall a nice break and will keep this site in mind if we are around this way again.

Very close to town
No complaints
Dog friendly
Ideal stop over if travelling further North or as I was doing the Dumfries & Galloway road trip
