Beautiful spot by the river, idyllic and tranquil, watched herons and ducks while I cooked food.
Lots of space and breathtaking views across the valley and moors.
Had a magical experience.

Lovely location right next to the river, and a nice simple campsite.
We stayed in the lower field, with a narrow entrance way in (was entertaining watching people squeeze in).
There’s a little stream that you have to walk across stepping stones to get to the toilets, so would avoid if anyone in your party has extra mobility needs
The facilities needed to be cleaned far more often, there was often a queue for the toilet and it would nice if there was a place to dispose of recycling and rubbish.
Prices:
£10 per adult and £5 per child.

Disappointing Dog Toilet.
The location is good and the very basic facilities enough.
But the field was covered in dog poo. Twice a day the owner's dog would use it as a toilet. We left early so our kids could play elsewhere.

We loved it.
Owner was very helpful, advised there were a lot of young people in the lower field and if we wanted something quieter to use the top field.
Basic toilet facilities but all you need.
Stunning location and you can wild swim on site.
Bring a book and a fire pit if you want a chilled stay, and you're set.

Our Gold Dofe group stayed her for one night.
Lovely quiet field for them them to enjoy.
Nice and easy book in and the gold group enjoyed their stay.
If you want piece tranquillity and perfect access to Dartmoor this is the perfect place.

This place is the perfect place to strip back and come back to the simplicities of life.
Nature, birds, jumping fish, tadpoles, cooking on an open fire, no phone reception (so digital detox is a given).
We loved it and I imagine we will be back.
Facilities weren't always clean (although that is more to do with fellow campers than with the site) and I think it is slightly overpriced, especially in these times.

Liked pond dipping and doing the night walk
Sleeping in a tent in the Cold and sharing a tent with the girls and having nice food
And being with everyone at lifeworks
And seeing everyone as well
I liked sharing a tent with Hannah and Charlotte

This campsite is an absolute gem, I'm so glad I found it! It's a gorgeous spot right by the river, deep enough to swim, with shallower areas that are good for kids.
The farmer allows camp fires and BBQs, and even sells fire wood if you need it. Dogs are welcome. There is no phone signal whatsoever but the Chapel across the road has WiFi and the lovely couple that own it are happy for campers to use it.
Only downside is the toilets are a little bit of a trek, and the gate to the camp is extremely tight. Okay for most cars, but my friends van got through with 1cm on each side, and some scratches!
I'll definitely be coming here again!
