Great site -
Loved the availability of waymarked walks.
The facilities are immaculate -
Good mix of campers and camping units -
A very handy site if there is an event at the County Showground that you want to see -
The local community shop also offers a same day delivery of groceries etc -
Will definitely return!

Firstly the staff were outstanding in every way to make your stay complete!
My wife and my sons family book this site to go to the Kent county show over these 3 days, which is walking distance from the sites gates so no cars had to be used over the time and the cars were very secure behind locked barriers.
Weather superb and the site was fully booked and the facilities spotless all wet room plenty of hot water day and night, what a gem this site!
So a big Thank you to Oak view country park.

Lovely site which was immaculately clean, hot showers, warm welcome at reception,
Always somebody around if any problems which luckily we didn't have.
Lovely woodland walk with our dog.
Good location to get to local amenities and main roads.
Will definitely stay again.

We chose this site because of its location to the show ground.
We were greeted by a lovely lady upon arrival, who took the time to explain the site rules before showing us to our pitch.
The EHU pitches are located with the hard standing caravan pitches, not a problem for us.
The site is well looked after, and the toilet block is the best we've seen, and is cleaned 3 times a day. There is even a doggy shower around the back. There are also laundry facilities, which is a nice touch.
There are a couple of tracks through the woods next to the site that were nice to walk through. There is no shop on site, however, there is a major town nearby.
There is a fish n chip wagon that comes round on a Saturday, a bit pricey, but good value.
In short, if you're looking for a well maintained site, within easy reach of a town, seaside and historical attractions, then look no further.
Will we stay again. Definitely.
We are going non EHU next time because it's more secluded.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 11 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were pitched on hard standing with electric (paid £35 per night).
As others have said the toilets & showers are lovely. Each of the shower rooms also has a toilet in there. The showers are free and it is push the button type where it stops after a couple of minutes.
If you do spend too long in the shower (as my daughter did) the lights go off and the sensor is outside of the shower room. The light in the shower room does glow green so you won't be completely in the dark (there are no windows in the showers themselves)
The quiet hours on the camp are from 9pm. When at 10. 30pm it was still noisy I did contact the staff and they asked the relevant people to keep the noise down. I can't fault the staff.
The location of the site is great for accessing major roads, but is also near the Kent showground. There were some diversions in place when a show was on, but it didn't present us with too much of a problem.
It only takes about 5 minutes to get to the shops in Maidstone. If you go a little further (about 10 minutes) there is Sainsburys which was the cheapest for fuel (Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Mills Rd, Aylesford ME20 7NA).
One of the nicest places we visited was Kent Life and it is definitely worth a visit if you like animals and a bit of history.
The Negatives:
Anyone wanting to pitch a tent with electric hook up, is put behind the hardstanding pitches. We found this to be a bit close for comfort.

Just returned home after a lovely 3 night stay at this site. It was a very well looked after, clean site and facilities.
Brilliant that it is so dog friendly with a lovely woodland walk adjacent.
Great that cars are not allowed to park on the grass areas ensuring a safe place for children to have fun.
Toilets and shower blocks were always kept to a high standard and the staff very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely return later this year.

We thought this site was more suited for an overnight stop, or permanent residence.
Facilities good. Nice clean shower/toilet block, (albeit only half in use because of Covid restrictions)
One facility sadly lacking, no platform for draining grey water tanks for motorhomes.

Lovely setting and spotlessly clean.
Unfortunately no time to explore the woodland trails on this our first visit.
Easy check in with pleasant staff.
Will be visiting again. Thank you very much.

We live locally to Oak View, however we wanted to give our new caravan a shakedown so didn’t want to travel far in case of any issues.
The site is lovely, set at the top of the downs in a very green setting within walking distance to the County Showground.
Facilities on-site are exceptional, the toilets are immaculate and modern and the pitches are generous in size, whether hard standing or grass.
The staff are lovely, Trish was helpful and friendly. If you want a well kept site with everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the countryside, we can’t recommend Oak View highly enough.
We will definitely be back soon.
