First time at this site; really liked-
Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff
Immaculate showers/toilets (liked shower & WC being combined)
Excellent Covid set-up - felt well protected
Great wash up facilities with plenty of hot water
Very clean and tidy rubbish, water tap, disposal areas
Walks directly from site through woodlands
Walkable to local pub (stony& uphill on way back)
Wonderful community shop in Detling
Site has plenty of space, surrounded by trees, huge green area in middle, didn’t feel too regimented
Shame there is no Wifi (but we managed)
Some traffic noise but didn’t impact in any way on our enjoyment
A great site with easy access to Kent coast
Will we return?? Of course!

Wonderful site. Well organised, friendly helpful staff. Immaculately clean facilities 3 times a day.
Lovely woodland walk for the dog through a gate off of the site. Enclosed and very safe.
Great for Leeds castle, Whitstable and Maidstone.
Will definitely be staying again soon!

The campsite was very clean. The staff were really polite and helpful. It’s a small family run business, the toilets and showers were very clean.
The ice cream van came round a couple of times which is quite reasonably priced. The kids that were there seem to be enjoying themselves although there’s no facilities for children at all most had bikes or scooters. It’s a shame they can’t build a park of the young ones but over all quite a nice camp.
There’s a wood where dogs can be walked Which was nice. But we personally had no problems at all. We went out for days so we weren’t there all the time sheerness was lovely had a lovely beech.
There’s a lovely shop nearby that is also sells coffee & lattes And fresh cream cakes.

Huge space. Clean. Tap and loos.
Paid for wood for a fire - didn't see anyone so didn't get the wood. No fire pit available anyway.
All in all a good site though - easy to find, spacious, clean and quiet.

Just back from an amazing weekend with friends and family.
Oak View was a last minute find, and as always was nervous of a new site, particularly as our friends were reluctant newbies.
But what a find!
Not too big, sensibly allocated field camping with absolutely spotless facilities.
Staff were all fantastically friendly and helpful, and can’t applaud them enough.
It’s only just reopened so still sorting out a few bits, such as a camp shop, but they’ve thought of that and a local shop does fresh deliveries of local produce twice a day.
We will definitely be back, along with our new camping convert friends!

We had a lovely break here. The staff were welcoming and informative and the facilities were spotless and everything followed Covid social distancing guidelines.
The Shower/toilet block was fitted with sanitiser and cleaned regularly.
I would definitely go again and recommend to others.

Could not rate more highly. Good flat site with grass better than many garden lawns, established trees. Beautiful wetrooms which encouraged people to look after them & keep clean after each use (I'd like the big squeegee they have to use at home!).
Jan was very considerate as we couldn't book ahead due to family circumstances. The site is quite close to the motorway so you can hear distant traffic if the wind is in a certain direction but we knew this and it had the big upside of making it very quick to get their & easy to access local places to visit.
We would happily return.

We are regulars to this campsite as it is close to family. FAB site with friendly wardens.
Toilets/showers wonderful, you have your own cubicle with toilet, sink and shower in. Always clean and tidy. Yes, it's beside the busy A249 but traffic noise has never been noticeable.
TV reception not great but so what - go for a nice walk instead!
