The turning in is sharp from a narrow country lane, needing to go on the other side of the road, but what a beautiful site with lovely views out over a valley and The Chilterns, and red kites soaring above.
The lady was very welcoming, there was plenty of room for each caravan and another area for tents. There are three shower /toilet rooms and a separate static portacabin with two more toilets: very nice, clean and plenty of hot water.
The field slopes away from the caravans where you can walk your dog. There’s a pub next door with extremely tasty and varied food, and two stores in Stokenchurch for supplies.
The site is off the M40 with the A404(M)for access for Maidenhead. The A40 takes you through old High Wycombe to the main town with Sainsbury’s multi-storey car-park (free if you spend over £15. )
Hellfire Caves are nearby and Bekonscot Model Village further on near Beaconsfield. There are dog walks round three sides of the farm: to the right the entrance is rather hidden beside a driveway and part of a bridleway where the path splits to a public footpath - not for the fainthearted as it goes straight downhill and you need the agility of a mountain goat; the bridleway is better.
At the bottom there is a choice of going down the unmade road to lovely country lanes or turning right for the steep climb to the road about 4 doors down from the pub!
I highly recommend this site and will definitely go again.

We very much enjoyed this site as it was quiet for the time of year. Its facilities were adequate for what we wanted.
The scenery from our pitch overlooking the valley and the flying display from the red kites was wonderful.
Highly recommend the Crown public House at the site entrance. Food and service fantastic. However would recommend booking if the site is busy.
Would certainly recommend this site and use it again.

We decided to go camping at the last minute. We emailed the owners and they responded out of hours helping us plan our visit.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by a friendly chap who booked us in for two nights.
The site is great. Nice and quiet but close enough to the places we wanted to go and see around the area.
The pub right next to the site was a godsend as we arrived quite late with 3 young children in tow. It is 2 minutes walk and the food was outstanding.
Great facilities and awesome views over the hills. Really enjoyed our stay and will be going back in the near future!

We stayed here for one night at late notice. The gardening man and his friend who oversee the campsite during working hours were extremely friendly and helpful. We did not get to meet the owners but it did not affect our stay.
The toilets were decent as were the showers, the toilets did smell a bit but were clean and had plenty of toilet roll.
There was a very nice pub just next door to the campsite where the staff were absolutely lovely! The food in there isn't overly cheap - approx £10pp for a main meal, but they sold eggs and we cheekily asked them to boil them for us which they did!
The site itself is in a small village but we were still able to get there by bus from a nearby larger town.
I would definitely recommend the campsite for its beautiful views and quiet surrounding area, its very friendly staff and its handy location right next to a great pub with exceptional service.

We stayed here as part of a larger group for two nights.
The camping field was flat and well drained and offered spectacular views and ample opportunities to see the magnificent red kites.
Facilities on site were clean and there were plenty toilets and showers. The big fridge freezer was a big help. All for a reasonable price.
We visited the Hell Fire caves and climbed the hill to see the Dashwood Mausoleum, whilst we were there.

I stayed here for just the one night on the weekend after Easter. There was no-one at home when I arrived but simple instructions in a box by the front door were followed.
The view towards Bledlow Ridge was amazing. I decided to walk there and back - very steep in places!
The shower rooms were clean and modern. There is a fridge freezer for campers' use, which I thought was a good idea.
Friendly pub next door for which I recommend that you book a table for dinner if you intend to dine there. I didn't and there were no tables free on that Friday night. There is also a British Legion club opposite the campsite entrance that welcomes non-members.
I shall certainly return and will stay for more than one night on my next visit.

We spent 3 nights at Home Farm during Easter week. A nice quiet site with fabulous views over the rolling countryside and perfect spectator views of the Red Kites cruising overhead.
Facilities consisted of 3 'bathrooms' (Toilet, Basin & Shower) which were clean and pleasant albeit with weak water pressure.
Biggest problem was lack of signs at the entrance. There is a 'Home Farm' sign on the gate which you can see as you drive past. No Camping signs at all.
Despite that, the site is close to J5 of the M40 so is easily reached.

I'm Andy the site owner, just to let you know what we have been up to.
We have just refurbished an extra shower room this winter with wc and wash basin, increasing capacity by 1/3rd which we hope will be a great help to all campers for the coming season on our small site.
There are now 2 stainless steel washing up sinks with (Hot Water During Peak Season) to replace the old ones which were cold only.
There are many supermarkets in the area, just 1 mile away in Stockenchurch there are three and much larger ones just in High Wycome 3 miles.
Bins and recycling are available on site well away from the camping area.
Please also see our own web site for Prices and FAQ's
Many Thanks for your time Andy & Isabel.

We chose this site because it was open all year & near to the 'family' party we came to England to be part of. We were surprised by the standard of the toilet/shower facilities. Loved the heated rooms with shower, toilet and wash-hand basin in one room. Felt like we had our own private facilities, which was almost true being at first the only couple on the site. The only minus point would be 'the workers' on the farm used the end building, so the floor was constantly muddy so it ruled out any use for other campers.
We enjoyed good weather when we were there, especially for the time of the year. We enjoyed watching the red-kites flying above our head. We loved the view from our spot on the camping. Well worth another visit.

Our 2nd visit to this site and nothing had changed, still peaceful, fab view, amazing red kites. Lovely open space for the kids to run around in. A good base for legoland, Windsor or london.
May be to quiet for some as no shop or play area, could possibly do with a few more showers, ladies loos and washing up sinks but we didn't have to wait to too long at either of these facilities. There is a freezer available to store ice packs which was really useful.
We would definitely use this site again.
