Blissfully quiet, no frills site, easy to tow to, with no narrow roads to negotiate. (site entrance is at the red brick house where you see a bus stop on either side of the road)

Level pitches and totally immaculate shower block, no 'lick of paint' needed here, it is tiled from floor to ceiling with excellent floor drainage. Free hot showers which are height adjustable and each shower room has its own sink for cleaning your teeth/fitting contact lenses etc in private.

The campsite is privately owned and well cared for by Rob the owner, who offers his customers tremendous value at £11 a night for two people, including pitch, awning and hook-up - in July!

The site was full during our 4 night stay, everyone was friendly, with no queues for the toilets and the owner thoughtfully leaves a bottle of toilet duck in them so no nasty smells either.

Sainsburys supermarket is located at the Shires retail outlet park with ample free parking. We had a superb meal in the canal-side pub called Moorside, which is located off the canal bridge near the retail park, not expensive and friendly service. Nice shopping at leamington, a very pretty town offering many designer shops/M&S plus eateries/pubs etc.

All in all, this is the perfect campsite if you are doing lots in the day and want a hot shower and peaceful nights sleep.

We had a stress-free time throughout, and wish to thank Rob and all the previous ukcampsite reviewers who contributed in our decision to come here. 100% Recommended - we will definitely be back.

This was my first visit to this site due to reading the excellent reviews posted by previous visitors. The site lives up to everything that was said about it in other peoples write-ups; the toilets are lovely and clean, the site is well maintained (no litter or rubbish everywhere) and the owner is a very nice man who is friendly and helpful. Whilst I was there, it was quiet, peaceful and there were no lager louts etc.

The site is not large but is well laid out and the pitches are all spaced evenly. The whole site is surrounded by open countryside and it has the convenience of a bus-stop situated right by the entrance drive (which is nowhere close to the main site for caravans so it wont cause any noise distraction). I found that the location of this site gave me easy access to all local tourist attractions (Warwick castle, Stratford etc) so I was happy!

I just couldn't fault this site or the owners and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it!

The site setting could not have been better for a relaxing weekend away. I pulled onto the site and the notice read pick your pitch and you will be visited shortly. I drove onto a pitch which looked ok but Rob the owner came over and said that was prebooked so he took control of my car and caravan and reversed it for me and parked me on a lovely level and lush green pitch. This being my first time towing the caravan was much appreciated. He left us to it after that only coming over later on in the afternoon for the fees. He was very impressed with us setting the van and awning up (us Being I female and 2 children. Lol) I was impressed myself. After that the time was ours.
The animals were amusing and my children loved watching the sheep and the rabbits. Harbury is a beautiful little village and I would recommend the Shakespeare Inn for good food and a warm welcome. The facilities were excellent and very clean and everything was close to hand.
A large area in the middle of each field was left for playing games. Excellent for the children to run around but still be in sight. The only let down was the weather but Rob could not help this, I think I took it with us. Would highly recommend and visit again.

 Great little site, lovely surroundings.

Nice staff and very peaceful.

Great little stop over on the way through to tour this part of the world and found local attractions plentiful and within easy reach!

We used this site as a cheap and cheerful bridge between some longer breaks away and it was a lovely getaway for me and my boyfriend.

Could do with clearer directions on entry to the site but apart from that, no problems.

Just got back from a brilliant week on this site. Facilities are spotless, new laundry facilities are available. There were 3 outfits of us and Rob kept us hardstanding pitches together. Ideal spot if you like peace and quiet, and for visiting the surrounding area- Lemington Spa, Stratford on Avon, Warwick Castle, The Motor Museum at Gaydon to name but a few. Would I return- definitely just wish it was closer than 220 miles for us!

This is the second time we have visited this site and it is my favorite. The site is small +or- 30 pitches all level with hookups/waste disposal points and washing facillities mostly hard standing on a farm. The site has 2 toilet blocks with the largest and cleanest shower/loo cubicles I have seen on a site. The owners are friendly and very helpful and have done a great job on setting up this great clean and well maintained site. There is no shop on site but a village 1 mile away which has a couple of shops, 5 pubs, chemist, garage and Leamington Spa 4 miles away. If you like to relax in the country this is the place to stay!

We visited this site earlier this year and found it to be one of the most peaceful and scenic sites we have stayed at. We were only here for a short time (6 nights) but what a great site.

The owner was very laid back and there was no hassle with how or when we paid. Our only 'niggle' is that when we arrived there is no signs or information to guide you as to where you can find someone to book in.

We were allowed to find our own pitch and from there on in it was a pefect week.

The new shower block was amazing, great, hot showers all the time and a huge space in each cubicle. There were three shower cubicles in both the female and male units, more than enough for those staying.

We only live a few miles away from this site but it was the perfect break for us. For anyone visiting from further away I would still recommend this as a good base for excursions, to local towns, villages and other attractions, including fishing lakes.

Although if you have children as we do (one 6yr old) there is nothing for them other than their own imagination, but there is plenty of space for them.

All in all a great site which we shall visit many times I am sure.

What a great little site, nothing on the site itself, pea gravel pitches, toilet facilities in the central block to rival, nay surpass CC standards, massive cubicles, spotless. Bus stop at the end of the drive, day rover ticket £9.50 for family, a 20 minute ride into Leamington Spa, will come here again and use as a base to visit the area in the future.

The owner is a very very nice man, who on our 7.30pm arrival, came to see us, said pick your pitch, see you in the morning, pay me then.( I like owt like that , like getting a tab in a pub )Has spent some money and deserves our custom.

Will definitely be back .

Just come back from two nights on this site. Very prettily laid out, with good sized pitches and nice views from all. The facilities were immaculate, with enormous showers, housed in two separate buildings, also with washbasins and WCs. The washing up area was extremely clean with what looked to be a fairly new commercial drier and washing machine. Lovely to be woken up by the gentle sound of sheep. Despite the weather being particularly wet in the night, we could still negotiate the site with dry feet. A very good centre for the many attractions in this area. We walked into Leamington Spa, had lunch, then walked back a different way. Would certainly use this site again.
