A gem of a site with fabulous countryside views. Stayed for a weekend with our two spaniels, who would give it a 10 out of 10 for the amazing farm walk, where they could run free in the open fields. Warm welcome at reception, large fully serviced pitches with plenty of space in between, very clean facilities. Well kept and extremely well laid out, will definitely return.

We've just spent 5 nights here & really enjoyed exploring the local area with our two boxer dogs.
The site itself is tidy, well laid out & even by my fussy standards there isn't really a bad pitch on this site. Grassy areas between pitches, no tall trees so if you are lucky enough to see the sun most pitches get the sun morning till evening which is why we choose to come here. The irony was we didn't get much sun but we still had a wonderful time.
All hard standing, fully serviced. I did notice that most hardstanding pitches are only big enough for van & awning (car parked up on the grass) or van/car without an awning.
Facilities were always clean too.
Although family friendly, it felt like an adult only site as no children's play area which probably puts families off.
We ate at the following:
The Boot @ Lapworth. Fabulous melt in the mouth Sunday roast beef. Starter & dessert both delicious too. Gorgeous pub & garden (dog friendly) and really nice canal walks from behind pub car park with lots of locks & a very pretty setting. Definitely worth the drive out there.
You can do a 3 pub canal walk too: Boot, Navigation & John o the Wood.
Wow!
Again superb food, & probably one of the best farm shops ever! Owned by Bamford family (JCB)
No dogs but there is a dog area where you can tie & leave them with plenty of water bowls plus shaded areas to park the car
Red lion @ Hunningham
Went ate here twice, best Sticky Toffee pudding I've ever had.
Extremely dog friendly inside. Lovely garden too.
Hill top farm shop & cafe
Just up the road, visited for breakfast twice. Dogs allowed outside.
White Hart @ Ufton. Beautiful dog friendly garden with lovely views but found restaurant very dark & dim. Food was good, next time we would eat outside if weather was ok.
Did a lovely walk from the Off Church Green Way car park in village (not from fosse way)down to Canal & followed towards Leamington. Came off at the bridge by Fusilier pub & headed towards Newbold Comyn walked through comyn & had lovely drink at the new bold Inn (nr leisure centre) & walked back again. Pub is dog very friendly & food looked good.
Hatton Inn
Hatton Locks, a real spectacle for the eyes. A lovely walk along the 21 lock stairway with colourful boats & friendly owners working their way through. Apparently it takes them around 4 hrs from start to finish. There is also a lovely cafe here too.
Our final meal was at Tasca Dali tapas restaurant in Warwick.
No menu, 6 course surprise traditional Spanish supper. Brilliant, quirky & buzzing atmosphere.

Just returned from a lovely BH weekend at this site. Impressed with the layout and the care with which both the facilities and the site is kept. We usually got to Adult Only sites but were with friends this weekend who had children. I can honestly say this is the best non adult only site I have been to. There is no play park but that was no bad thing as the families that were there played together on the areas of grass designated around the site which was really well thought out. The dog walk was a very pleasant walk. There is so much around this area to visit from Stratford on Avon to lots of places like the Windmill, The Herb Centre etc. We ate at The Crown in Harbury and it was excellent brilliant service & lovely food. The greeting when you arrive is fantastic too. You choose your own pitch and though our friends & us couldn't get a pitch next to each other the way the site is laid out made no difference. Not giving it 10/10 because the showers whilst big, free and clean changed temperature from boiling hot to cold whilst using them, not too safe or convenient & not being able to request a pitch if you were camping with others. Apart from that it is a site to which we will happily return and can recommend to others.

Site is situated down a farm lane, and well back from the road, that said there is some road noise but not enough to worry about.
Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. The pitches are a good size and are fully serviced with water fill and empty. Wifi is available at reception but its a fairly strong signal that reaches quite a way.
There are new loos and showers on the wooden reception building - possibly one of the best showers we have come across on a campsite.
The owners have marked out a farm walk around the farm, and there are plenty of marked footpaths around the immediate area.
The buses for Leamington Spa and for Banbury / Daventry stop at the farm track entrance, proably a 10-15 minute walk from the pitches.
Overall a top class site, with wonderful views all around, well kept and lovely staff.

Nice open site with some lovely views of surrounding country side.
Very warm welcome at reception, with advice on which pitches might suit us.
Nice if rather small shower block that was not as clean as a club site one.
The site is relaxed and peaceful, but there is some noise as it is under the flight path of Birmingham airport, Fosse Way can be noisy as can the nearby railway line.
I find noise difficult to tolerate, but will be going back to this site because it is relaxed and the noise from outside the site is intermittent.
Pitches are of various sizes and are well spaced out.
There are so many attractions and places to visit that is difficult to mention them. But try Coventry Cathedral old and new one and if you need food while there try the museum opposite the front of the cathedral, the food is good and very reasonably priced, but it does get busy around lunch time.

We do love the location for peace and quiet with little background noise.
We think the owners have planned this site about right with great facilities to each pitch and first class shower and toilet areas.
It is rare for an affiliated Caravan Club site to have limited play area for children ( as it is a working farm)and I must say it is a refreshing change not to have the young ones speeding around on bikes and playing ball games near caravans and motor homes.
Let us enjoy it for what it is - A very pleasant and peaceful oasis, run by a lovely farming family with the advantage of being centrally located for many good days out close by.

This site is located in a beautiful part of Warwickshire and is within a short drive to Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa and Warwick.
The access to the site is good, the site entrance is signposted off the Harbury road and is accessed via a long driveway. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a friendly lady, paid our fee and told to choose whichever pitch we wanted. All of the pitches seemed good, with plenty of room between each one and each pitch is fully serviced with EHU, fresh water and waste water point.
There aren't too many facilities on site, which is how we like it. The site office has Wi-Fi, though we didn't use it. The toilet blocks were always spotless and the wet rooms were most appreciated.
In all, a very good site which we'll certainly be returning to.

This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last.
Reception staff were fantastic, really welcoming. The site itself was peaceful, our pitch was lovely and private with it's own water supply and waste drain and everything was spotlessly clean. The shower block nearest to our pitch was lovely - spacious wet rooms and boiling hot water. It was so quiet and all we could see around us was fields and sheep. Lovely.
The biggest plus for us was the dog walk - it was the dog walk from heaven. Open fields for the dogs to run in and lovely safe walks through the sheep fields (the sheep are all fenced off). Our dogs had an amazing time. They also had a fantastic welcome at the very dog friendly Crown Inn in Harbury village where we had a great lunch. The food and staff were lovely. There is also a Co-op in the village and another shop so there was no worry about running out of anything. The only down side was the walk to the village was along a main road and the verge wasn't really walkable on. It was only 1. 5 miles though so nothing terrible.
I only gave 7/10 for facilities as there was no shop on site. I also gave 7/10 for child friendliness as I think if my ten year old had been with me he might have been a bit fed up. The site is very clear that children are welcome to play on the green spaces but I probably wouldn't have let him as I think everywhere would have been too near to other caravans.
My husband was determined that this was our last trip of the year and that the caravan was getting put away for the winter. He's come home tonight and changed his mind and wants to book another weekend there. Hurrah!

Second visit after discovering this gem of a site in July. Faultless check in so easy unlike other camp sites that take an age. So easy to book online. We have stayed both times in the new part, we had hardstanding, fully serviced pitch. Spotless toilets and showers and a well kept site. Have added this site to one of our favourites and we'll be back again and again. Ok other people have commented on lack of facilities for children but there is plenty to do in the area. But this campsite suits us for what it is, quiet and centrally situated for everything in the area.

Completely agree with BabyDaisy1972. It is a lovely site but there needs to be more provision for children.
It's great having a fully serviced pitch as it means we could use our own shower without the normal worry of the aquaroll running out or having to go out to check its full before you start. The toilet blocks are nice and clean, the chemical toilet point is clean, security is good as the site has coded barriers. You can also pick your own pitch which is good when you are on your own but may not be able to pitch together with friends if the site is busy.
A small play area for children would be great to give them something to do outdoors. There are only so many scavenger hunts or games of swing ball that can be had. It is a quiet site so maybe the owners don't want the noise of a play area but as it's not an adults only site, happy children noise is to be expected.
The site is close to Warwick. We went to Warwick Castle which is always a good day out. There are leaflets in the site reception that has information on other local attractions.
