August 2005 We visited this campsite with friends and we really had a lovely time, the toilets were clean and the farmer cleaned them regularly there was plenty of soap and fresh toilet rolls.
Views of the steam train and beautiful views. The station for the steam train within 5 mins walk.
Only two washing up bowls with cold water provided only which was abit of a pain and the queues got huge.
Apart from that lovely.

August 2005 We visited over the August Bank Holiday. Although the site is slightly sloping the views made up for this. We camped at the top of the field. I thought the grass could have been cut at the top of the field as well as the bottom as it would have been easier to walk on etc.
There was some noise at night but this was probably inevitable bearing in mind the number of campers on the site over a Bank Holiday. The site was not allowed to become too crowded though as the farmer put up "camp site full" notices.
The showers were adequate and there was always plenty of hot water. The showers were free as well. Plenty of loo roll and hand wash lotion.
The site has beautiful views and is in a good location to get to places in the local area.

August 2005 Stayed at this campsite through reviews that other people had left. An ideal campsite for families as mentioned. We stayed on the Bank holiday weekend and it was admittedly extremely busy. There didn't seem to be any stopping people coming in and the site was more than full. It was full more than we'd have liked however still peaceful and didn't spoil our time there. The showerblock was basic however there was always hot water no matter what time. Very slopey, so def. choose your pitch with care or else you could be rolling downhill during the night!!... Lovely owners who are very helpful. Would def. go back again, however not over a bank holiday. Views are absolutely amazing from this campsite.

August 2005 Just spent the weekend here and would echo all previous comments. Two huge camping fields where you choose your own pitch. Everyone was really well spaced out even though this is the middle of the school holidays. It is mostly sloping, but there are also some flatter areas. Toilets and showers are quite basic (mens more so than ladies), but they are kept spotlessly clean with plenty of toilet roll. There was a small queue at times. Friendly farmer collecting fees each day-bargain £10 per night for family of four. He was helpful with advice about which beach to go to and what time to leave to avoid traffic etc. As we were too late to go to the best beach at Studland, he gave us directions of where to park on a side road in swanage near the quieter end of the beach rather than pay for the car park. Corfe castle looks very pretty and the steam railway is good. Can't advise where to visit as the weather was so great we went to the beach both days. We will return here again.

June 2005 We had a great time here despite appalling weather. The setting is lovely and very peaceful and just right for families. Only small toilet blocks but kept very clean and regularly checked. The showers were free and always hot(men's were a bit more basic but still kept clean and tidy.)Very friendly owners who were happy to freeze ice packs in the farmhouse. Farmer always pleasant when coming round for pitch fees in the morning. Lots of space for kids to play and top field had been set up as a football pitch.We will definitely return although can see that when busier there will be more queueing to use facilities.

May 2005 This is a large hillside campsite with excellent views across the valley and of Corfe Castle. There is a friendly atomosphere, with a mix of families and young people. Shower and toilet facilities are basic but very clean. Can get a bit conjusted when the site is full.
The ground is a bit rough in places and the site slopes so choose your patch carefully and take an airbed. A steam railway runs close by going to Swanage and Corfe Castle. The train service also runs in the evening, which is handy as there are no pubs with in easy walking distance of the site. A lovely place to camp, highly recommended.

August 2004 This was an excellent site. The owners were very friendly and the prices were cheap. There was loads of space and the views were lovely. The women's facilities were of a high standard (although the men's toilets and showers were not quite as good they were still on average with most sites). The site is a working farm but was still quiet. This means it is out in the country a way so check your directions, it isn't far to drive to nearby attractions. The only downside was the slight slope that much of the field is on - although some areas are quite flat (this also means a bit of a trek back to your tent after visiting the loos). For those who want a quiet time with lots of space in a peaceful setting.
I would highly recommend it.

August 2004 We visited this camp site at Bank holiday & it was lovely. You just turn up set up & a very friendly farmer comes round in the morning to collect your fees, which are really cheap, £8 a night for 1 adult 3 kids & 2 small tents, 2 very big fields & you can camp where you want, showers & toilets basic but clean.
Highly recommened ++++++
