July/Aug 2002 Excellent site for camping, in a woodland grove with little wild bunnies hopping everywhere! Amenities were excellent - free tennis courts, free badminton net, free beach volley ball, free swimming pool, free crazy golf, free petanque....... All in all there was plenty to do without leaving the site (although there is plenty to do in the area also!) The showers (ladies) were brand new and very impressive (apart from a very slow hairdryer!)and, dare I say it?, they were free as well. The downsides are few: the showers/stand pipe were at the top of a small hill from the camping area and the (also good) play area was some distance - I wasn't always happy to have my 7-yr old quite so far away for long periods of time. In addition, despite it being the height of the season, the bar/restaurant wasn't open at lunchtimes during the week. Food was good and very reasonably priced - kids meals for under £3 including a drink and full english breakfasts were good value too! The shop was well stocked with just about everything and there were some beautiful gardens just behind it. I would recommend this park - we had a great time and it thoroughly deserves its five stars.

July 2002 Merley Court Touring Park was our first camping experience after which we have now caught the 'camping bug'! Our family of four were only visiting for a week, but wished it were longer. Site facilities were excellent and we enjoyed the on-site entertainment which included a Family Quiz and a Disco for the kids. We will be back!

Having recently spent a week at Merley Court Touring Park, we have returned home having had a great time there. Pitches are well sized and maintained with nearby access to services, i.e electric/water.
This is a good park should you wish to stay onsite for the duration of your stay, with good amenities, i.e shop, leisure activities, quiet restful area's and the park is in a good location should you wish to venture to nearby Poole Quay and Bournemouth.
Enjoyable place to which we will no doubt return to.
