Just a fantastic weekend at Swiss Farm - our first visit. The staff could not do enough for us, flexible and friendly throughout. The facilities were absolutely spotless. The pool was fantastic, the kids loved the playground and lake with ducks. Bit chilly at night! - but cant really complain about that! - Overall a ten out of ten for us - thank you, we'll be back and will be recommending to our friends.

WELL THIS SITE IS GREAT,
Its 10 minutes walk from the site into central Henley, the river and all the area has to offer
As you arrive there is a big security barrier, upon check in you are issued with a security 'swipecard' ( you leave a deposit for this security card ) this enables you to come and go as you please.
You are directed to your pitch and away you go,
There are several levels of pitch, we had a 'deluxe' type with hardstanding, fresh and waste water points and also tv connection, electric hook up and ' night lighting'
The site is quite big and as far as I am aware there are only two large toilet facilities. However these were clean and even in high season we did not queue for showers or anything.
There is a clubhouse with bar by reception and also here you can purchase a wristband so you can use the outdoor pool. There is a small kids playground which is ok, but it seemed busy and our kids had to wait ages in high season for the swings !
Henley as a town has plenty to do and if the weather is good take a boat trip on the Thames. Its lovely.
Marlow and Windsor are close and Oxford is not far away either.
There is a big field at the far end of the site which is gently sloping. This seems to be exclusively for tents, and it was really busy on our visit.
One thing is as night falls there seemed to be a lot of biting insects/ mosquitoes. This could be due to the close location of the river ??? but don't let a few insects spoil your visit to this great site

What a lovely campsite! The staff was friendly, the pitch spaces ample between each other. We camped with 2 children (aged 9 and 4) and it was very child friendly. The playpark in the middle of the field was a wonderful idea. We could keep an eye on the little ones from our tent. The wpool a bonus and the kids were not cold at all (apparently). The shower blocks were clean and the were two blocks. The main block had bath for the little ones. Also easy walking distance from beautiful Henley (bus stops outside campsite). Only thing is the pub do not do any food at all but we did see people picking up pizza delivery from reception. A must!

Did our first ever camping trip to Swiss Farm in August, although it was only 25 minutes from our home it felt like we where a world away. Fantastic camp site so clean, showers great and very clean, washing up place very clean. We loved the pigs and made a daily trip to see them. Kids really enjoyed themselves ages 10, 14, 15. Other campers very helpful as guess who forgot to take a air pump. Hubby and son loved sitting by the lake fishing they didn't catch anything but they just enjoyed the time together. We where all so relaxed cant think why I didn't try camping years ago. Will def being going back to this site again. 10 out of 10 for us.

Lovely warm welcome from staff, who pointed me in the direction of the friends I was meeting.
We camped in field 2, with the play park, no age limit given on its use (our children ranged from 10-12yrs. They were just asked not to use it after dark - sensible really!
Camp site a short walk into Henley, which is a lovely town with something for everyone. However if you don't fancy walking to town and don't want to cook there is a range of takeaway menus at the bar entrance.
Children gave mixed reviews on the pool water temperature - but were happy to swim both days so I guess it was just fine.
Showers, toilets, washing up areas were all kept very clean and in general the whole campsite was clean and litter free.
On the less positive side:
It says no dogs but 2 dogs were spotted on site - so not sure how that works.
Also quite a bit of road noise - especially early in the morning - but not too terrible.
All in all a good camp site - definitely will visit again

Spent 7 great nights at this campsite. Arrived on the Mon and got a warm welcome at reception and told to pitch where best suited us. Managed to pitch the tent before the rain (which is always a bonus) The ground held up quite well considering the rain and only when the tent field became busier at the weekend the opening to the camping field became quite muddy. (not a criticism though as it was raining everyday)
The toilet and shower block was always clean and had plenty hot water. The bar was also very nice and a good place to relax as we could go with kids until 9pm. (would suggest that if possible maybe a few basic meals to be made on site and I think they would get a lot of trade)
Good playpark and the pool looked nice but we never used it, the kids also loved feeding the ducks at the pond.
Would stay here again.

I stayed here for five nights in June half term with two children aged 8yrs and 9yrs.
Fantastic site, there are two camping fields, field 2 has the play area in the middle so is ideal if you want to keep an eye on your children, field 1 has plenty of space and is adjacent but you can't see the play area from it.
Loads of space, flat pitches, shower block adjacent to the camping field but the better one is in the caravan area.
Swimming pool was a real hit with my boys and we were blessed with fab weather.
Very short walk to Henley (less than 5 mins, easy with children as only one road to cross and pavements all the way.
Henley is fabulous place with everything you could need.
Shop on site will meet your basic needs but there is plently of shopping in Henley.
No noise at night or early in the morning - always a bonus.
All in all a brilliant site and we will definitely return.

Just returned from a weekend in our tent at Swiss Farm - our daughter raced at Henley Women's Regatta.
We cannot fault this camp site - it is by far and away the best site we have ever stayed at.
The couple on reception are genuinely kind and welcoming and the rest of the staff around the site are first class too.
Swiss Farm has been built to a high specification throughout and all the areas (reception, bar, heated swimming pool, washing up area, showers and toilets) are kept incredibly clean and tidy which is no mean feat when we humans are at one with nature.
It only cost us £50 for two nights for the four of us, and we even had our 26 foot sculling boat on the roof of our car for one night.
We are definitely, definitely going to return to Swiss Farm many times.

What a fab 8 nights we have just had (experienced)at Swiss Farm. We arrived on the Friday before the Jubilee and returned Saturday just gone. Although the weather was a little wet and the wind was a bit mental on occasions we had a brilliant break.
The site is very clean and well laid out. There is certainly enough room on the pitches and the staff are careful not to overcrowd the fields allowing enough space to spread out.
The toilets and showers were kept to a very high standard at all times.
My kids had a great time in the swimming pool everyday and we certainly had a great time in the clubhouse most nights.
I think that all of the staff were fab. Poor Pete and Will had to put up with a lot from us all. James ensured that we were all safe and our needs were met. Constructive Criticism: More wine and brandy please
And then there is the most delightful couple on reception who were very hospitable throughout our whole stay! I don't know how they remain so calm and professional.
Cant wait to return!

We have just returned from a weeks camping over the Jubilee Week. Despite the weather (heavy rain & high winds) we had a great time. The site is stunning. The facilities were always clean (astounding with the weather we had) and we never a queue for the toilets or Showers. Hair dryers are available in the Ladies not the mens but I haven't met a man who uses one yet!
We had an electric hook up and used low voltage equipment and never a problem. The site was full but because the pitches are large it looked half empty.
The managers were jovial and helpful and the reception had a good stock of essentials for the things you forgot!. All of the staff were pleasant and worked hard to keep the site looking so lovely.
We visited London (from Twyford) Legoland, Chessington and Bicester outlet village. The site is really well placed for getting around. Henley itself is a 5 minute walk and lovely.
All in all a great time and would recommend this site to all, there really is something for everyone. We will be back as a week was just not lone enough,
