Loved this site clean with friendly staff and great facilities
It is literally a 5 -10 minute walk from the town centre, which is lovely. Lots of coffee shops, eating places, pubs, parks and riverside walks. A good waitrose 5 mins from site.
Nice friendly staff. A beautiful pool which wasn't open until May. A bar and clean pleasant facilities.
The pitches were excellent size, hardstanding and pea gravel. It was nice and quiet even though there's a tent field for rallies, which were no trouble when we were there.
Lovely fishing lake and adventure playground
Would definitely recommend
The only problem for us is dogs are only accepted in low season, if this changed, with a pool for the children, we would be regular visitors.

Site is located one mile outside the delightful Henley on Thames and ½ mile from the public access to the River Thames footpath. Very large well maintained site with plenty of screening/privacy hedges between the large pitches.
The site is run on commercial basis (hence names – Swiss Farm International!) resulting in an impersonal service at reception with minimum/no advice on location and facilities. Bar on site and outdoor pool opening during main season.
Mixture of grass pitches, hard standings and fully serviced super-pitches. Noisy site with constant background drown from the busy Marlow Road and air traffic to Heathrow Airport.
Plus the site appears to be used as semi residential on some of the touring pitches with early morning commuters setting off to work in cars at 6 am!
Clean and modern toilet/facilities block/s. Good Wi-Fi access on site, but best pay for 1 hr @ £ 1. 00 as the time clock starts when logging on (complete waste of time for 12 or 48 hour access. Dog’s only allowed at low season - £ 2. 00/dog/night.
Red Kite’s abundant in the area and adjoining field providing magnificent flight displays.
Overall this is a good site and great location for touring this area of Thames but for my money a tad too commercial and impersonal.

Stayed here for a week in the summer holidays. We dropped on that it was the rewind festival weekend. The site was fairly full when we arrived for this but we had a large enough plot for our six man Sun-camp tent. The toilets and showers were clean and very modern. The ones nearer the reception the better of the 2. The shop and bar were ideal if you require this sort of thing. We used the swimming pool twice. What an experience outside in England.
Used the site as a base for a visit to legoland it was only 1/2 an hour way and allowed us to stay there until it closed at 8pm because we didn't have far to travel back.
There was an issue with noise from the rewind festival. People in the next tent had been and gained some extra people who decided to argue at 1 in the morning. I tried to find the warden but to no avail. So I had to sort myself which eventually worked. I reported this to the site and the offenders were asked to leave that day. As compensation I was given a days stay back which I used to leave a deposit for next year.
The site has a nice fishing lake you can walk round and all the facilities required for any type of camper.
There is a local shop a ten minute walk away and a large Tesco through Henley itself if you have a car. The Weather-spoon pub in Henley it self is ideal if you want a break from cooking in the tent.
Really enjoyed the week here and have booked for next year for our Olympic stay.

We stayed at Swiss Farm for 2 nights whilst attending the Rewind Festival in Henley. We have camped on the festival site for the previous 2 years but could not cope with another year of portaloos and 2 hour queues for the shower!
We definitely made the right decision, the facilities at Swiss Farm are of a very good standard, all very clean, free, hot showers and no queueing.
The site is very quiet at night, we even heard an owl close by one night. We didn't use the swimming pool but it looks nice.
The site is a short walk into Henley which has lots of places to eat and drink and good shops.
We walked into Henley and then along the river to the Rewind festival which was an easy 40 to 50 minute walk.
There was also a river taxi service available for those who arent keen to walk, the campsite reception provided details of this.
We would definitely stay at this site again.

We have just spent a week at Swiss farm ( 2 adults and 2 children both aged 11) and we all agreed that this is a great site, kids loved it, popping off to the fishing pond, riding around on their bikes and using the swimming pool,
Ideally located for Henley, only a short walk into the town, nice little bar, and campsite shop with the bare essentials,
We have a folding camper and were on a hard standing pitch (no 125) if you do choose hard standing make sure you have rock pegs and a good lump hammer as the ground is solid.
Toilets were ok, but as the site was busy they quickly became messy, no fault of the site simply the volume of people using the facility.
Overall a great week had, and a site that we will be using again

What a lovely site. Easy to book, great welcome, beautiful surroundings.
First time we have visited this site and it was a treat.
All facilities were clean. Site was safe and I especially liked the security barrier for cars.
The pool was lovely and the bar/cafe area was a welcome find.
An international mix of fellow campers made the site interesting for all- the children loved it.
Quiet evenings and peaceful mornings were the order of the day.
The surrounding woods and countryside are great for strolls and walks.
Henley on Thames just a short walk away and a lovely place to browse the shops, walk along the river or whatever takes your fancy.
Good shops around for supplies as well.
Thoroughly recommend!

We've recently been to Swiss farm on our first ever camping trip and I have to say we had a great time, it probably helped that the weather was brilliantly hot and sunny the whole time but also the campsite facilities were excellent,
the toilet and showers were very clean although the temperature was a bit cool for me, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We were in field 1 which was where the play area is and we found this great for the kids as they could go and play freely but we could still see where they were and what they were doing.
The pool area was good one tiny criticism would be that there wasn't very many chairs/loungers however it was grassy so you could take a blanket to sit on.
The town centre of Henley was around a 10 minute walk from the site, it is quite picturesque with plenty of shops and eating places, there is a sainsbury's local which is open from 7 til 11 every day and also a waitrose.
We had a great 3 night stay and would definitely return again.

This is the third time we have stayed at Swiss Farm. Since the last time we went the reception/shop area has been revamped and stocks rare breeds meats and basic provisions.
The site is well looked after with plenty of room for everyone. The facilities are clean and there is usually plenty of hot water. Having said this the hot water in the toilets was too hot! My husband complained that the mens toilets were smelly which is down to lack of ventilation rather than cleanliness.
There is a large fishing lake where you can pay a small fee to fish. In addition there is also a swimming pool which again can be used for a small fee. We didn't have time to use this though our friends did and enjoyed it.
There is also a large play area.
Very nice site close to Henley. Recommended!

We have wanted to go to Swiss farm for the last 2 years with our touring van but unfortunately due to a fall in dec 2010 we will have to leave the tourer in storage this year. So we decided to go into one of the sites holiday homes a very good decision as this was new this year and had every thing you would want .The site itself is immaculate well looked after and very clean. We did not use the bar on site but it was well presented and there is an age limit on children allowed in. The shop carries the basics you might need. The toilet/shower blocks are very clean with plenty of cubicles.
The pitches are of a good size and well laid out. I didn't use the fishing lake but had a couple of walks round it and some nice carp could be seen. The pool was closed but looked very good with sun beds to relax on.
A 5 or 10 min walk takes you in to Henley which is very nice. Plenty of good restaurants and some good places to have a drink. A nice place to eat is St George and Dragon in Wargrave, get a seat on the balcony over looking the river Thames.
All in all a super site which we will definitely visit again.

We visited this site over the Bank Holiday weekend and stayed in our Dandy Folding Camper.
The site and facilities are clean and well ordered, an easy stroll into Henley which is a pleasant day out (we had great weather and enjoyed a boat trip).
Our pitch did not have EHU as we only booked a week in advance and got about the last free pitch. The only thing that marred out visit was having to stare across at the worlds biggest RV (completely unoccupied all weekend) which ruined the view of the lovely countryside.
It is worth noting that the swimming pool is not open until June which was a disappointment to my daughter who would have liked a swim as the weather was and had been very hot for quite a while.
The large field that we had played on during earlier visits was also taken over by a Autotrail owners rally which limited the play space. Final minor grumble is lack of hot water as previously mentioned.
Overall though a good site and we are likely to return again, this time in July or Aug when the pool is open!
