Swiss Farm is probably the best site we have stayed at. The pitches, paths, hedges, toilets and public areas are all kept in immaculate condition.
We had a fully serviced pitch which included TV aerial point.
The staff are so friendly and do everything to make your stay pleasurable.
The shop is well stocked with everything you need including camping accessories.
Henley On Thames, where you will find loads of shops, pubs, restaurants, a theatre and cinema, is just a short walk away along a pavement.

This site has something for everyone. We came by this by chance as our week away was waterlogged in York and had to find somewhere last minute. The site in March was very quiet, but I can imagine in summer it would be very very busy
For us, we wanted a site that was close to a town with a variety of pubs and nice walks. This absolutely hit the mark. Henley is great. Lots of shops and pubs. But also has '2 days out walking'.
In one direction you have a 3 mile walk to Lower Shiplake and a great pub and food - then 3 miles back. And the other direction you have a 3 mile walk to Aston, and you guessed it, a great pub and food! Henley is apparently very busy in the summer so I'd probably avoid it, but for us, out of season it was perfect.
On site is a cafe and a pool which is obviously only open in main season. The facilities are caravan club standard. We did walk up to the caravan club site about 500 metres away from here but the site was noisy (road noise) and the road was not great to walk up as cars were going faster than the 40mph limit.
Will certainly be back!

Back again, we really like this site, the pitches are spacious and feel private.
The toilet shower block was always clean and fresh no matter what time of day we visited.
We didn't use the bar/restaurant this time but in previous visits food has been good.
It is about a 10 minute walk to Henley along roads with paths. A pleasant town with everything you need, waitrose and a sainsburys local within the town.
One of our favourite site and we will be returning.

My first visit to Swiss Farm although I have known of it due to working in Henley for a number of years and lived in Marlow for a majority of my life.
I must say I wish I had gone sooner. The site location is beautiful and very well maintained. There are 2 stunning timber lodges by the small lake that can be fished on. The toilet block I used was spotless and kept nice and warm. The toilet emptying point was one of the best I have ever used. But the most amazing toilet emptying solution was the electrical one that does everything automatically for you, but only for certain toilet tanks.
Facilities are good with swimming pool, bar, cafe and small shop in the reception.
The walk in to Henley is short with great bars and restaurants.
I will definitely be returning.

The first thing that struck us was the great location so near to Henley-on-Thames. The reception staff were very welcoming and their information pack was very useful. The site has a lot of seasonal pitches and their are several statics. Our pitch was a hard standing with water, waste, 16amp EHU and a terrestrial TV point. Nearby was a WiFi transmitter but the connection was very sporadic. Overall the site is very well maintained and in September, very quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool and cafe bar are a useful addition but the food menu quite limited. There is a small fishing lake on site and good riverside walking nearby. Would def. Return if I wanted to visit this area again.

We needed a place to stay which was accessible to the local town, but had good facilities, well what a good decision! A large site with a pitch type to suit all, from a simple camping plot to a fully serviced one. Excellent restaurant and bar with attentive staff and good food. Reception staff were equally as good. Location is perfect with easy access to the River Thames across the road. The level walk into Henley-on-Thames is easy on the pavement but does take about 15 minutes not 5! The bus stops are at the entrance to the site and run into Reading and High Wycombe. Use Google maps click on the bus stop and you can get real-time information. Although this is a large site it is very quiet with plenty of space between the pitches and many mature hedges. The broadband is good and TV connection also was good (poor signal locally).

We visited with a Folding Camper.
Great decision to come here. A lovely peaceful friendly site. Well thought out and looked after. Weather was hot so we didn't venture out much. Just chilled in the sun. Henley in walking distance and Windsor a drive out.
It was lovely to be able to swim in the pool. The restaurant did really nice, quality food and you could take away.
The pitches are a generous size and ours had water, electric, TV aerial point and a drain.
We had a lovely holiday here and can't wait to return.

Still a good caravan site, but not as good as it was. Just had a 22 night stay there. It’s expensive now. Well over £30 a night is a lot.
The shower blocks are good, clean as a whistle always, but when the site is full, don’t use them at peak times, you won’t get through the door. 7am or 9pm is fine.
The staff are mostly lovely people.
We had a hard standing, but far far too much gravel on it. You have to wade through the stuff to get to your door. With sandals, all that deep gravel is a nuisance.
Our hard standing was just that – hard. Hard as hell. I bent many of my heavy rock pegs trying to get them in the concrete-like ground. I needed more, but the shop had sold out of rock pegs (surprise surprise). I told the lady at reception/shop the difficulty with the ground, and she responded with that most irritating of responses “I have to say nobody else has ever mentioned it. ” This is not only an insulting response when you point out a problem, (the underlying message is clear) but in this case entirely untrue. I had mentioned it on my last visit here. And this time they were told by one of our neighbours. On one pitch they had given up, and fixed their awning down with bricks.
This was our fifth visit to Swiss Farm. I’m not sure we’ll return.

We had a great time - We could not find fault in anything
The lodges were absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and so relaxing by the lake.
Everywhere on this site was spotlessly clean. The on site cafe is a must for a breakfast, its delicious and such a choice of foods.
All I can say is Very Well Done and thank you Swiss Farm -
See you real soon x
