 1982 every year -2004
Started go to this site at the age of 7 and have been every year since. Fantastic castle, lovely clean site, toilets and showers all very clean. There is enough showers to shower half of Scotland with hot water for man and beast.
Bar well priced (and stocked) Restuarant well priced with very good food and service and candle light (in times of power cuts).
Plenty to do in surounding areas, lots of walks for a dog friendly site.
Kids playing area and games room is good.
Shop is well stocked for both adults and kids.
We dare you to try and count the amount of wild rabbits.
Looking forward to taking our soon to be born first child for many exellent holidays to come.
Be warned there is a £5 deposit for your keys for the toilet and shower blocks so if you loose a key thats £5 less petrol/drink money.
Hope you enjoy this site as much as we do every year.

What a site, beautifully laid out, all pitches clearly marked out and hardstanding, loads to do and see... and space!!!! Lovely wee bar that has quiz nights and music, very friendly staff and owners.
Toilet and shower facilities were spotless, there is a mountain bike trail (haven't tried yet), lovely river walks and more than enough room for kids to run about safely.
Plenty of water points and bins, it also has a large tent field where caravans are also allowed providing they dont need electric hook up, but there is a field up top for tents that require hook up.
But the main thing about this site is the friendly atmosphere, everyone has a smile on their face and will always say hello, all in........ go visit this site for yourself, you wont be dissapointed.

This is a lovely camp site - small pub with restaurant and its own golf course. Lot of nice walks round the site. Unusual ladies loos - used to be a stable block of the castle! Nice and clean and loads of showers and loos. Nice playpark for kids too. Only grumble was there are only 2 toilet blocks and if you are in the middle of the park its a long way to either!!
