Beautiful quiet site.
Very helpful greeting and very pleased with the facilities although as this was our first ever camping experience with have nothing to judge it against but it was clean, tidy and pleasant.
The view was green and lush. We shared the field with a mole but that added to the joy as did the rather loud Cuckoo and friendly Jackdaws.
The playground was much used by our daughter (4yr old) It was helped by the best weather of the year. There is a large Tesco under a mile away although it does not have a cafe just a costa coffee which is not good if you are wanting a big cooked breakfast. HoHum.
Still we loved this site and will return soon. Thank You.

A very nice basic site with nice views south into the heart of the IOW set just off the main Ryde to Brading road (no noise problems before you ask). Clean toilet block with a separate shower block and separate laundry.
Plenty of room for kids to play but no other facilities as such. There is however a a huge Tesco just up the road with buses passing the site (to/from Ryde/Brading via Tesco) every 15 mins. Cost of a one man tent was £6. 50. Good value.

Just back from a six night stay at Beaper Farm. The site consists of 2 large and one small field. This is a no frills, but perfectly adequate site. Showers are hot and free, toilets are clean. A shop (open 9 til 11 am)sells the basics.
There is a laundry we didn't use. Ice packs are available for 10p each per day. For two adults and 2 kids it was £19 per night for a tent and leisure shelter. There is a nice play area and surrounding woods for kids to make dens and an abundance of space. This is a well managed site.
The owners are pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. The surrounding area consists of woodland and gentle rolling downs. There are some pleasant walks along the tree lined path to St Helens and Ryde.
I gather there is a pub 20 minutes away, but I took a wrong turning. This site is well located and we would certainly go again. The only downer is the price of the ferry. Top tip accumulate some Tesco points beforehand.

This was and still remains one of my favourite campsites ever. Okay - this is partly due to the fact that I camped here with my mates when I was about 15 and had a great time, but it hasn't changed much from what I remember and this isn't a bad thing.
We stayed in the top field just up from the (slightly dated but perfectly adequate) toilet block where there was ample space even in the height of the season. There is also a good playing area for the children who just wandered off to play without a worry - for me or them!
The shower blocks are a bit further away if you are in the top field but if you are in the first field they are a short walk.
As others have mentioned the shop is very small and this is probably my only possible source of complaint - not the size of it but that fact it was only open for two hours in the morning - it would have been really nice if it was open from, say, 5-6 in the evening too.
The position is also spot on as it is easy to find, close to (but not too close to) a decent IoW road that will give you access to the rest of the island. And close enough to Ryde (and the huge Tesco) to be very convenient.
So overall, not a fancy site, but I don't want that personally - just two large fields with plenty of trees and nice views, and perfectly good, basic facilities. Just exactly what camping is, and should be about.

Admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive about staying here as I am generally a 'super pitch girl'! But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my week!
The best thing about Beaper Farm is that (in the top field) you have a large play area and the kids are SO safe running about. A huge weight off any parent's mind. Cars rarely come into the field and drive very slowly as it is all grass. Therefore, you can confidently let the kids run about and play.
The services are very basic, but perfectly usable and generally clean. Don't rely on the site shop for anything more than milk and bread.
For everything else, there is a huge Tesco 3 mins up the road. A very laid-back, old-school type site and an absolute pleasure. Huge mounts of open space. Really beautiful.
Very reasonably priced pitches and laundry. I surprise myself in saying that I will be going back, despite the lack of high-tech amenities.

A lovely relaxing site.
Yes, the facilities are a bit dated but clean, in working order & pently of hot water what else do you need. Ok no underfloor heating, the odd spider or moth but we were camping. Remember flip-flops/Crocs for the shower.
We stayed for a week (other half & 9yr old daughter) with EUH, site got busier as the week when on but we never had to wait to use facilities. (Although it was no-way near full capacity. )
Shop was opening as we left, but Tescos Extra is so close by it was no problem for us. We were able to hire ice-packs from the house.
Daughter enjoyed the playground.

Lots of space and no marked out pitches which suited us as our tent is quite large! The facilities were slightly disappointing though. We were in the top field and the toilets were very dated.
Over our 4 night stay, 2 toilets in the ladies were blocked and the flushes didn't always seem to work. The showers were ok but the water drains through the changing area so quite difficult not getting clothes wet. Gave up in the end and walked back to the tent in my towel which was a bit of a trek as there are no showers in the field we were in.
There was no hot water in the washing up sinks during our stay so we resorted to heating our own at the tent.
The website advertises a shop but there wasn't one, although Tesco's is just down the road.
We enjoyed our stay but feel that the facilities desperately need updating. Ground is also very soft. If you think it might rain during your stay, would advise taking some long tent pegs.

Large site which was very busy when we were there, but didn't feel crowded as there was lots of space. The toilets/showers were always clean, although sometimes the showers weren't very hot. Also the washing up sinks (and showers at times) got busy, however there were a lot of people there and you never needed to queue for too long.
The shop was open for basics (milk, bread etc) there was also a burger/snack van which sold everything just about - breakfasts, cream teas, evening meals etc - for part of the week, however this disappeared part way through the week and never returned!
Plenty to see and do - Dinosaur Isle in Sandown and Compton bay were both particularly good.

It was our first time camping and had seen Beaper Farms reviews on UK Campsite and thought we would 'give it a go'. We arrived on the busiest week of the year, a warm welcome from reception started off our week very well. The Site is easy to find and located in a great position, so close and central to all the facilities on offer at the Isle of Wight. What helped was the fact you can choose where to 'pitch up', although peak season there was plenty of room to choose a spot. We found a great spot in the corner by the hedgerow. The facilities at Beaper farm are ample and adequate, the toilet and shower blocks were always clean and had hot water, we never queued for a shower or the loo! Our only slight disappointment was the lack of choice in the on site shop, however, Tesco is just a 5 min drive or 15min walk away. We found it fantastic value for money and will definitely be visiting again soon!

Great place - relaxing. Peaceful. The owners seem to be nice people - they just let you get on with it. It says something that many people return year after year - myself included.
Nothing wrong with the toilet or shower blocks - they're clean, hygenic and functional. Basic, but so what? They do the job. Old? Not always a bad thing - the place has an old-fashioned charm.
The shop certainly isn't 'derelict' - I used it every day. Again, it's just the 'basics', but, as previously stated, you can always go to Tesco and McDonalds if you really must.
For 7 quid a night, you can't go wrong. If they put a bit of shingle down on that muddy track up to the second field, they'd have the perfect place. Simples.
