This is a fantastic campsite. It doesn't claim to be anything it isn't.
There is so much space. We stayed the last full week in August over the bank holiday and the nearest tent was at least 20 metres away.
The owners are very friendly, always happy to help.
The toilet block and shower block are somewhat dated, yet if you want up to the minute then you won't find a campsite this good value. The facilities are clean and serviceable.
There are washing up facilities and laundry washing machines too.
Our 6 and 9 year olds loved the play area, yet we did need to fully supervise our nearly 3 year old here - as you would expect to a child so young. There was lots of space for kite flying and general running around. This is family camping as is should be.
Just up the road is the largest Tesco supermarket you've ever seen! East Cowes ferry terminal (Red Funnel - vehicle crossing to Southampton) is just half an hour away. From Beaper Farm to Yarmouth is approx 45 minutes.
We loved Yaverland Beach just a couple of miles down the road next to Sandown, excellent long stay car park and toilet/washing facilities to clean the dark cocoa powder like sand off. Opposite the Zoo and just down the road from Dinosaur Isle.
We will definitely return here next year. A thoroughly enjoyable time had by all.

Great site and we visited last 2 week of August and the site had lots of units but never felt busy.
Showers are always clean and hot (20p for a token) and a good play area for children, although during our visit was rather monopolised by older teenagers sitting on the swings until all hours.
The owner is very helpful and we had a late ferry but we were allowed to stay as long as we needed to on the pitch at no extra cost, in effect giving us an extra day on holiday.
Lots to do in the area and Ryde beach is just up the road, a fabulous site that we will be returning to.

Great campsite, good clean facilites, very well priced at £4pppn. There are plenty of showers, and loos. 20p for the showers, which are hot and last for ages. Definitely recommend this site - we stayed over the second May bank holiday weekend and we had a lovely time. There is a massive new Tesco is just up the road, and there is a bus stop by the campsite to get into Ryde - although at £3 a trip in the bus, its cheaper to take a taxi in the evening if there are 3 or more of you travelling.

Lovely site and very reasonably priced. Plenty of space to camp without being on top of others, and room left over for ball games, kite flying etc, and good cycle paths to explore that apparently lead to the coast. Facilities were clean and tidy, and 20p hot showers always working and not too busy. There is a good kids play area, a small shop and laundrette facilities, and a huge Tescos less than a mile away.
We had a lovely time here and will be back this August.

We have just returned from four nights at Beaper Farm, and we were very impressed. The site is huge, so even on a very busy Bank Holiday weekend there was a great deal of space. Even though we booked quite late, we had no problems getting an electric pitch, which was helpful. The toilets and showers were very clean, and freshly painted. The showers cost 20p, but were always hot. There was an indoor washing up facility, and a laundry room, although there was no iron. Great site, highly recommended!

May 2005 I visited this campsite over the May bank Holiday. We stayed right up on the top field, in a small secluded part of the campsite. One problem was that although there are two toilet blocks, only one is open off-peak. This meant that we had to go all the way back down to the other side of the campsite! Bare this in mind if you need the loo! Lady who ran the campsite was friendly, toilet block was clean, as were the shower block and washing up facilities. We were allowed to check in whenever we wanted, and there was plenty of space.
Kiddie’s playground was also very good (even for big kids like me), and where we pitched our tent provided excellent children’s playing facilities, with a ‘den’ in the trees and a tyre swing. As a result there were always lots of noisy children around!
The campsite is also very easy to find, just south of Ryde with a large Tescos almost within walking distance. Would visit again – although this time I will make sure I stock up on 20p’s for the shower block!

May 2005 A lovely peaceful campsite,Very reasonably priced. Plenty of room (big fields) friendly owners. There is a fantastic play area for the kids including a sand pit. All the facilities were fresh and very clean. Tthe showers take tokens 20p each from reception. About 1 mile up the road is tescos. Also not far there are pubs (also family pubs). A stunning area loads to do, so much we didnt do half of what we would have liked. So will return in the summer holidays.
