Lovely walk around the lake.

We needed a site at the last minute and found this one. We were impressed with the pitches and were met on arrival and given the choice of the two remaining spaces.

The site was fairly full and we did wonder if it might be noisy at night. We needn't have worried as people seemed to respect the quiet time. My husband spent a few hours at the fishing lake where you pay via an honesty box.

Used our own facilities so can't really comment on theirs. We didn't have children with us so can't score on child friendliness. There is no children's play area but the children seemed to be enjoying themselves.

We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We thought the campsite was very nice but, what spoiled it for us was a large party that were very noisy day & night until the early hours, shouting, swearing, arguing & loud music.

The campsite rules state to respect your fellow campers after 11pm well, that was totally ignored & we shall not be staying there again!

 Lovely quiet, well maintained site.

Teenagers loved cheap wifi!

Dog loved the allocated dog walking wooded area.

Only criticism is there is no map in the pile of literature on arrival and no signage to where water/waste/dog walk is. It was all a matter of looking and wandering about

Visited on lovely sunny weekend in February at the end of school half term. Not very busy but apart from the fishing lakes there's not much to do on site apart from relaxing. One purpose built facilities block with showers, toilets, washing machine/dryer and under cover washing up sinks. A further ‘portacabin’ style facilities back at the other end of site. Both clean with plenty of hot water, but perhaps limited if site busy. Pitches large but the gravel hard standings a bit narrow. No shop. Drive over waste and van cleaning area (£1 for washer). Rally field. No local bus so own transport needed or taxi. A solid rather than spectacular site and not the cheapest with limited things to do.

Stayed here as part of a group attending a weekend away, the one weekend where there was lots of snow! The facilities were fine there are great servicing facilities for motorhomes, grey waste drain, chemical disposal, water etc. We will be back again soon. Well placed site for visiting Bicester Village and other local amenities but you will need your own transport.

Stayed here for a couple of nights having used this site before due to its convenience for our needs. Nice location but quite a number of negative points would benefit from improvement, mainly regarding the main washrooms, several points being mentioned to the site owner. There is no heating in the Family room and the small radiator in the Ladies area was not switched on. There were sink plugs missing there. No sign of cleaning having recently been done, as the bins hadn't been emptied, there was grass on the floor. One toilet required cleaning and no sanitary bags in the holders. A cleaner did, however, appear later that day and do the basics but the outdoor washing up sinks still remained untouched. At £23 pn with electric and more for a fully serviced pitch (an increase since last season) these negative points are not really acceptable. Such a shame as the site has much potential.

Great campsite, lovely quiet setting. The owner was extremely helpful to me when my dog injured one of it's claws- she called the local vets for me to arrange an appointment and gave directions as to where they were, much appreciated!

There was no-one to greet us on arrival - just a telephone number to phone. Not a problem as small site and not busy and we were told to choose a pitch and park up which we did. Under these circumstances we expected someone would come to see us during our stay of two nights to check everything was O. K. But that didn't happen. Site was adequate. We were close to a wooden facility block. The shower area smelt a bit musty but the showers were hot and the toilet area clean. The washing up sinks were not clean enough to use. The main block near the entrance looked good but due to the distance we didn't use it except for emptying our toilet cassette. The site was quiet and not too far from Bicester if you had transport and was handy for the M40. The hard standings were just wide enough to park on which meant you had to walk on the grass which had just been cut so grass constantly paddled into our unit despite our best efforts. This site is expensive for what it offers and we would not return.

Absolutely loved our week here. The owners Robert and Anne so friendly. We broke down on the way and Robert came and towed us to the camp. Could not ask for anything more. Peaceful beautiful and relaxing, a must visit.

Toilets very clean showers nice and hot.

Stayed in a caravan.

Thank you both

Nathan, Amanda and boys pitch 26 😀

Boys made some lovely friends and I felt very safe xxx we will be back soon.
