This is a lovely quiet site. A mixture of caravans, motor homes, tents and Eco-pods. The toilet and shower facilities were great. Both were very clean.
The location of the campsite is perfect. It was only a five minute drive to the centre of Bicester and easy access to the M40
We'll definitely use this site again.

A small group of us decided to give this place a try despite the negative reviews.
I'm happy to say that we were quite impressed.
Yes there's only two showers (2 male and 2 female) but it's only a small site and no-one had to queue. What I will say is, those 4 showers were all spotlessly clean. I'd rather have 2 clean showers than 10 dirty ones!
The site is well laid out with plenty of room for tents. We had 2 of the electric pitches with hard standing for caravans but as we only had 3 tents we managed to pitch on just one of the grass areas and parked the cars and trailer on the hard standing.
There are what appear to be permanently sited caravans there, as opposed to statics, but the occupants didn't disturb anyone whilst coming or going.
We had an open fire going almost the whole time we were there using a firepit which we cooked on, used the smoke to keep the bugs at bay and to provide heat during the evening.
The site was very quiet, very chilled and laid back. I left feeling very relaxed. I'd go again without hesitation.

We had booked for 4 nights on pitch 30 in May 2105 in our caravan.
The site is pleasant enough but nothing special.
The showers are severely lacking - 2 male and 2 female shows are NOT ENOUGH
There is another toilet block on the rally field but this is no more than a portaoo with luke warm water - no showers here.
For a fully serviced pitch it was very disappointing - The water taps are only inches off the ground making filling an aquaroll very hard and the drain is too close to electrics.
There is a little road noise to be heard
No play park for kids - not even a place to kick a ball around
No recycling options at all
Finally. There is no policy about commercial vehicles on pitch so you don't know who your neighbours are going to be - the owners don't care who or what turns up - just as long as they bring money.
After a bad experience with our fellow campers, we very quickly up-sticks and fled to a Caravan Club site!

Great site close to Bicester and easy access to the M40 for Warwick and Stratford on Avon. Level pitches, lovely clean facilities and a well stocked lake for those that like fishing. No shop, but plenty of local amenities a mile or so up the road. Nice and quite, a great place to pitch up for a weekend.

This is a little gem of a site. We visited for three nights in January so it was almost empty. There were a few units with people who were presumably working in the area since we didn't see much of them. Otherwise we had the pick of the pitches.
There are many super-pitches with electric, water and waste disposal, justifying the extra cost.
The utility block is superb with washing-up sink, washing machine and tumble dryer in the entrance room. This also has local brochures, a few reading books to borrow and a safe in which to deposit your fees if nobody is in reception. Trust is evident and much appreciated. There is a family room off the main room and the ladies and gents ablution rooms where small heaters keeps the chill off and the layout, tiling and general decor is very attractive and immaculately clean.
A previous reviewer mentioned the shower curtain and leaving belongings outside the cubicle. The shower cubicles are large but I didn't want to hang my clothes inside - in case they got wet. I managed to hang them on the pegs just outside and I didn't have a problem with the shower curtain. I then enjoyed a fabulous, non-push-button shower.
Our dog really appreciated the long dog walk with poo-bins at convenient situations. The fishing lakes are an extra bonus, being very picturesque with plenty of large fish (carp?) to watch. Herons were watching, too!
For those who carry bicycles, it is a short, quiet ride to Bicester where a controlled crossing takes you across the main road and onto one of the town's dedicated cycle-paths. A short ride gets you to a Tesco Express for provisions. If you want to explore Bicester on your bike look up 'Cycling Eco Bicester', we found it useful.
Being winter we had booked hard-standing. Next time we will choose one of the large grass pitches because, as seems to be the case with some non-club sites, the hard-standing pitches were a disappointment: a length of tarmac for four units with no idea of quite where to park. At this time of the year this was not a problem - we had the area to ourselves.
All in all, this is a beautiful site where it is obvious that the owners have given thought to the needs of their customers. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed for a weekend, booked very last minute and found this to be a wonderful little campsite, very easy to find and owners are lovely. If you have a tent, you can pitch up anywhere in the 'Rally Field' and there are no restrictions on the size of the pitch, nor on the timings of when you arrive and leave, which makes for a relaxing little break.
You will need to bring your own cooking facilities and fuel as there are none available to buy at the site (has to be freestanding to protect the grass.
In the Rally Field, there is a toilet block with outside sinks for washing up (always hot water too) and this is well lit at night, should you need to make a trip. Reception, the main shower block and washing machines etc are just a very short walk away in another field, the showers were lovely and clean and there was plenty of hot water throughout the day and night.

A very pleasant site with lots of open space with 2 fishing lakes and dog walks on site. My wife and I stayed here for the first bank holiday of the year for 4 nights. Bicester town is only a couple of miles up the road so you are not too far away for shops, pubs and restaurants.
There is a new amenity block on site which is accessible by a push button code on the main door ( this code will be given to you upon arrival ). Inside you will find a tourist information stand, here you will also find both male and female toilets and showers. My only gripe about the showers is that they are not proper cubicles with a door. Instead they have a curtain which does not give as much privacy as a door and also means that you have to hang towels and clothes on pegs outside the cubicles - you will have to be trusting with your valuables whilst showering as other people may be using the loo's whilst you are in there.
Fishing is available for those who wish to participate in some worm drowning and appears to be well stocked with plenty of swims that are all well maintained. When we went there was a problem with mole mounds so you had to watch where you were treading. An abundance of bird wildlife to be seen and a really peaceful time was enjoyed by us both.
Caution should be exercised when approaching the site as you will have driven past it before you see it due to a lack of clear signage at the entrance to the site.

Lovely peaceful site with it's own fishing lake, which is also open to outsiders.
Never saw the owners, ( phone when you arrive to get code for shower block, ) didn't need to, there is a letter box to put your payments in and phone numbers if you do need anything.
Toilet and shower block immaculate, complete with fresh flowers and plenty of hot water, even a family room with toilet, sink and shower which is a boon for trying to wash little ones.
Large room with sink for washing up and the usual leaflets of local attractions, maybe a fridge/freezer would be a bonus for campers in tents.
Only 2 miles from Bure Park with co-op, chip shop and chinese takeaway. 4 miles from Biscester with a superb outlet village, expensive but nice to window shop.

We recently stayed on this site and were very impressed. The site was spacious and clean with a large toilet block which had a changing and shower room for families and or people who are disabled. The toilets and showers were really clean.
On site there was access to fishing and to some lovely walks in unspoilt countryside. We were in travelling distance of Stowe, Silverstone and local NT properties
There was not a playground but plenty of room for children to play on site. The costs of the site were reasonable and in our view good value for money. Both of us would stay here again

Excellent site! Grounds well kept, neatly mowed grass, plenty of space between the pitches. Facilities are great too, and enough of them- 2 showers and 3 loos in the ladies ( I guess the same in the mens) plus a large family room with a disabled toilet access and wet shower room.
All kept very clean, with plenty hot water, toilet rolls, soap in the bathrooms and even air fresheners!
There is a small lake and a pond on the site's grounds, both well stocked and in a lovely surrounding with wooden sculptures around them, and also private grove with a nice path through it, great for walking dogs (waste bins provided as well).
It is also good value for money as we paid £12 for a pitch for 4 people. All in all lovely and picturesque place.
Will definitely go back there!
