Not far off the main route North out of Bicester but so rural and peaceful it felt like it could be in the middle of nowhere.
Friendly welcome and well kept pitches surrounded by bushes and trees.
There are picturesque fishing lakes and an excellent dog walk.
I liked the size of the site - 39 pitches means it is small enough to feel friendly but large enough to justify good facilities.
As a solo camper, I appreciated their (sadly unusual) system of charging partly according to size of party rather than just a set price for the pitch.
A bargain at £13 per night for a non-electric grass pitch for 1 adult which was all I needed. They also have hardstanding and electric/water pitches.
Will definitely return.

Lovely site, was met at the gate and showed where to pitch, (near main facilities on grass electric pitch). Great walks around the lake and dog walking area which was good for our greyhounds.
The site is very well kept and peaceful while we were there.
We did not use the facilities in the main block as the showers didn't seem to have much room so used the family room which was spacious but cold as there was no heating and April was still very cool.
Everything clean and welcoming, there is a coffee machine in reception if you need a brew before setting up.
One downside was that there was a notice in toilet cubicles to please make sure that they flush properly (sometimes had to flush twice) which other campers had not done.
Also we thought we would wash down our trailer as we were going home but it was not working, Sophie did attend and seemed to get it started but failed again when she went away, so gave up on the idea.

A very conveniently located site just a couple of miles North of Bicester.
Good facilities for fishing and excellent walks around the lakes and separate dog-walk.
Hardstandings rather small and difficult to access without churning up grass edges.
A new facilities block is a good addition, with a family/assisted bathroom and pot-wash. Laundry, etc. Is at the main facility, alongside reception. Also a good facility is a power-wash unit at the motorhome service point.
Site admin a little below par - initially directed to an EHU grass pitch, having booked full-service hardstanding, but quickly rectified.
The only other niggle was that during a power cut lasting most of one day (not an on-site problem) there was no attempt to let residents know any details or estimated repair time.

Absolutely fantastic stay, Sophie and Chris, our campsite hosts were brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help.
We had our wedding celebration at the site which included photos in the stunning grounds by the lake.
Brand new shower and toilet facilities were immaculate.
We will all definitely be back. Thank you to all at Glebe Leisure 😊

A very homely site, relaxed. It was in the process of having another toilet block built which would help as the main one is really only able to cope with two fields (there are four in total).
The amenities were clean and well serviced.
Lovely walk around the fishing lake and impressive statues/works of art
Access to the site is with fob, very impressive (exit too).
Road access to the site is very easy as they are between two A roads, though the last stretch is a narrow B road
We visited Claydon House NT then explored Tesco in Buckingham.
Did not really explore the area, there are many sights but many were closed on a Monday.

Site was nice except shower in main building did not drain away very well so you got a flood out of door, tried Disabled family shower room toilet was badly blocked so didn’t use it, they are building a new shower block with family shower rooms so will be hopefully much better,
But on our last night a big tent came beside us and the noise carried on well in to the early hours, we had a long journey the next morning, and unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep,
Over all was a nice site and will stay again as it’s close to where our son lives

Beautifully quiet and very friendly.
Not sure why the showers were being cleaned at 10:30, I would have thought later when everyone had showered would have been better?
Nice hot shower eventually though.

Arrived at site and was welcomed, my booking confirmed, and shown where to park van, all really friendly and efficient.
Site immaculate, lawns neat and facilities excellent and spotless.
Lake walks are lovely. As solo traveller I felt very safe and had a great stay.
Well done, would certainly book again if up this way.

Wow. What a lovely place to stay! Variety of pitch-types, lovely facilities, site firepit used all weekend. A large gathering of strangers who became friends.
Lovely dog walking areas around lakes and woodland with plenty of dogbins provided ( even if some dog owners think it ok to leave their dogs pooh on the path).
Quiet, peaceful, tranquil and out of the way. Clean, tidy and well maintained. We will be back. Great value for money. And only about an hour from home, so no great distance.
Close for Waddesdon Manor,
Quainton Railway, Bicester Village and Oxford. Nice old pub in Fringford village - Butchers Arms or The Ajeman on the A41.
Caravan and Camping shop on the A41, too - with about 10 Peacocks.
Great place to stay. Thankyou! Bob and Nic.
