Fab site right by canal. Great seeing all the different boats and canal life through our window.
Lovely owner Debbie always happy to help. Gave great info on walks that were amazing. Just so nice watching nature from camper bed with a cuppa on a frosty morning, and hearing owls.
Lots and lots to explore in the area without needing to drive. Perfect for dogs!
Love to go back!

A beautiful piece of heaven with the site owners ensuring we were happy and giving us maps of the area.
I had two large dogs with me and they were allowed on a long line in the field. Stunning walks available into Ellesmere itself.
Shower £1 but clean and hot - we will be returning.

Ty Mawr is a lovely peaceful site beside the Shropshire Canal. It offered walking opportunities along the canal path and nearby Colemere.
The owner gave us a warm welcome and lots of helpful information about the surrounding area.
We hope to make a return visit in the future as the site is within an hour's drive from home.

A lovely site, with large pitches bounded on one side by a canal.
Very friendly owner who gave great guidance to the various walks around the area.
Would definitely go again.

A three night stay on this excellent small, Canal side campsite over a Bank Holiday weekend. Owner Debbi is very welcoming and helpful with local information on walks, places to visit and even supplied a local map/leaflet.
Washing/toilet facilities are clean and well kept and the grass pitches level and well drained. The grass pitch areas were mown but I was pleased to see other grass areas were left uncut and had subsequently become filled with Wild Flowers, the whole effect was one of peace in a natural setting.
I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Peace and quiet like nowhere we have ever been before. Beautiful views across to the canal.
Lovely contrast of the well kept camping areas and wild meandering fields towards the canal at the edge of the property.
Plenty of room for all campers. Not on top of each other and given a choice of where we would like to park up.
Excellent location for walking and cycling. Very welcoming owner and her dog, Lola. Definitely a site to revisit.
Facilities closed due to present restrictions.

Cannot fault this site. Nice location bordering the canal, large field so plenty of room.
Short walk to colemere to the left and similar distance to welshampton to the right.
The hook ups are to the right of the field where you get the sun all day.
Very helpful owners,
As someone else commented a gem of a site.

If your looking a a gem then this is the one for you.
Quiet clean friendly grass pitches with 16amp electric
We had a fantastic stay and were looked after very well
Toilets are clean and tidy with one shower unit pay as you go
The site is on the llangollen canal with fishing available
There are no close shops and a good walk to the nearest pub
We extended our stay as long as possible liked it that much
