Good site, great location noise from road was not a problem even though we were in the field closest to the road.
Toilet / shower block clean.
Only negatives were, just one sink in the toilet block for washing etc, and the gates across the entrances to the pitches,
Very long gates to allow vehicles in, but not the easiest to open 2 gates at night to get to toilet block, could do with pedestrian gates.
We would return again good site generally.

Would recommend to anyone. Great small site with friendly owners.
On 2 main bus routes into Bath or Bristol, a gin distillery across the road, cycle route 2 minutes away, steam train station 3 minutes walk and a garden centre next door with ice cream and bacon sandwiches.
Already recommending to friends.

Friendly warm welcome and tractor onhand if you get stuck.
Road noise - but didn't stop us sleeping soundly and great location to explore Bath and Bristol.

We understand that this site used to be a C&CC Certificated site, but the site now has planning and has expanded to two paddocks with new facilities block. However, there is still a Certificated Site sign at the entrance. A new, better located sign is required.
Situated on the main road, access is good and then choice of two grass paddocks with electric and also a further level terrace above. New facilities block with several loos and showers in male and female, but only one wash basin in each. One washing up sink, situated outside.
Situated on the edge of Bristol, near Heritage Railway station at Bitton and Bristol-Bath cycle path. Bus routes to both Bristol and Bath; at the junction of two different routes.
The owners let us leave our van in the yard while we went on a day walking; very accommodating. Hope to visit again.
A good little site.

The description doesn’t do it justice. This is a very nice little site with a wonderfully warm and clean and modern shower block on site.
There seemed to be about 3 camping areas. We were on the top field and cheeses would’ve been useful but we managed as we forgot to bring ours but there was space to adjust our position.
Saw deer and foxes. Very friendly welcome and advice on how to get to Bristol and Bath (9 and 7 miles respectively). It’s just a very short cycle/walk to the Avon Valley Railway (free to walk around the platform and buildings) and get on the well used and well tarmaced old railway line to Bristol.
Stopped off at the White Harte in Warmley on our cycle back from Bristol to the campsite - short detour and wonderful fish and chips!
Site is quiet and I’d love to stay here again.

Great campsite.
Lovely clean toilet block. Good view from top field.
Perfect access for the Bath to Bristol cycle path, and walks along the river Avon.
Would recommend.

Our second visit to this lovely, quiet site, ideally suited to explore Bristol and Bath. With two gently-sloping fields ramps may be required though we didn't need them.
It's mostly grassed with a few hard-standings. Lovely new toilet/shower facilities (push-button showers were great) and a single washing-up area (not covered). A comprehensive recycling area too.
A very warm welcome from the owners, and there's plenty of advice on visitor attractions available. There was some traffic noise from the road, especially during rush hour, but nothing that bothered us.
We walked along the railway path to Bath (7 miles) and Bristol (9 miles) - it's smooth and wide all the way. The Avon Valley Railway has three miles of operating track (check website for times etc. ).
It's less than 2 miles across the fields to Keynsham railway station with frequent and inexpensive trains to Bristol and Bath. There are also bus stops a hundred yards from the gate.
There were always plenty of continental visitors to the site, apparently they had a good write-up in a German/Dutch cycling magazine so there was a wide variety of units and languages to see/hear!
In all a friendly, clean, well-organised and well-placed site with great facilities. We'll be back!

Site perfect for Avon Valley Railway (10min walk).
The village is worth exploring too.
Excellent & clean facilities.
Very friendly & helpful staff/owners.
Eggs & honey for sale.
Well maintained & set out site. Popular.
Some pitches may require blocks/ramps.
Downside is that the road alongside is busy, but it is quiet overnight.
It is between Bath & Bristol, so great base for visiting tourist attractions in the area.

Stayed over the bank holiday to cycle into Bristol and Bath along the cycle path, the site is in a excellent position to access the Bath to Bristol cycleway.
Facilities are in excellent shape and well maintained and clean. There was a Pizza van on site one night, not only good value but also very tasty.
The owners are very helpful advising on places to eat, and visit locally.
A great site, one we will use again when in the area.

Small site, showers and toilet great.
Unfortunately our pitch was at the front very close to the road and under a street lamp. It is a busy road daytime but quietens overnight.
Speaking to other campers they did not notice the traffic so maybe I was just over sensitive to it.
I would book again however.
