Owners very pleasant, and helpful
Roadside field was small, and on arrival already five units in situ. Easy access to field with our tag axle motorhome. There was a second field, which was larger, but full on this occasion.
Toilet and shower, beautifully clean, 50p token for the shower, but it was a great length of time for the water. So no issues there.
Unfortunately, the road noise, aircraft noise and night time street noise was (for us, who like peace and quiet), just too much to cope with. We stayed one night and had to move on, being very sleep deprived.
The owners were very pleasant when we stated we were moving on, and gave us our money back for the four further nights we had booked. Thank you
Good location, not far to the cycle route to either Bristol or bath (dis used railway line).
Site was just not for us, due to the noise.

I travel on my own and look for seclusion and peace and quiet. I have just spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, even though there wasn't much privacy. The site is an open paddock and there is a lot of noise from the road, as the traffic passes the site until late at night. However, as I spent a day in Bath and a day in Bristol, and as I could sleep on a clothes line it didn't worry me too much on this occasion. There is one toilet and a separate shower, but it is the nicest toilet I have ever seen on a campsite in my twelve years of motorhoming, and kept spotlessly clean. I have to rate this site highly for my sightseeing-in-the-area needs. Excellent value too. The owners are very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice little site with good access near both brisol and bath. Not far from the cycleways linking both cities and near the lovely bitton railway station. The pitches when we visited were a bit tight to be honest but we managed, and pitching is quite strict. The small toilet /shower was brilliant. Spotlessly clean and the shower was free and no draughts!rubbish was emptied every single day. There is no washing up facilities so if in a tent it could be a problemthere is some road noise and aircrafts flying over but it doesn't spoil the campsite. The only negative is that the owner doesn't live on site and wants to know your arrival time which canbe difficult when travelling hundreds of miles. You have to then call 20 mins before you hope to arrive so they meet you and collect payment. A better idea would be to put your pitch no on a board maybe. We wanted to move on after a few days but as we had to pay up front we couldn't. I would recommend it though.

Only spent 1 night here on the way back to Yorkshire. Would have stayed longer. But fully booked up. And not surprising. Its a nice site. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower. Both very clean. And adequate. Owners are very nice and people oriented. There are some deer over the road at the bottom end of the field. £14 per night. Good rate. Will return again.

Since we purchased our Motorhome just over 2yrs ago after years of camping we have always stayed on Caravan Club sites or larger private sites. We had decided to visit Bath & Bristol recently and looking for a site convenient for both we discovered this Caravan & Camping Club CS which appeared ideally situated for our needs, had excellent reviews, so we joined the Camping & Caravan Club and accordingly booked this site.
I've got to say that we agree with all the other reviews in every aspect regarding this site.
Owners are lovely helpful people, though only 1 toilet & shower they are of ample size & spotlessly clean.
There is a shop and pub just a short walk into the village but be aware that the pub does not serve food. It does have a lovely beer garden with a couple of parrots, exotic birds and a couple of Meerkats.
We chose this site because we didn't want to be taking the van off site and there is a regular bus service to both Bristol and Bath from very near to site. Note currently due to9 road closure bus service to Bath may not be as easy (we didn't look in to this fully as we cycled there) at the moment.
Just up the road from the site is the Bristol/Bath cycle track which you access at the Bitton Steam railway station. It is 9miles to Bristol and about the same to Bath (sign says 7 but after coming off Bristol/Bath track there is another cycle path along the river into Bath. The track in the main is pretty flattish though the path to Bristol has one or 2 sharp ascents.
Didn't see any Deer as indicated in other reviews but did see hot air balloon.
This is a great site for exploring the Bristol/Bath area and should we ever decide to do so again we will certainly stay here if available.
In my ratings I have ignored Child Friendliness as there are no facilities for children on site though I am sure as a couple of other reviewers have indicated the owners are very child friendly.

We stayed at Knights Folly over the Easter weekend. We chose the site due to its access to the Bristol-Bath cycle trail. Our experience from booking onwards was a pleasure. We were greeted personally by the site owners and shown onto our pitch. The facilities, although minimal, we're excellent. The toilet and shower were immaculate and the loo even boasted a small library and local information!
On Good Friday the owners delivered fresh hot cross buns to all the units.
There is a good local shop a short walk away and númerous pubs within walking distance. There is a small steam railway just up the road where access to the cycle path is. It is an easy ride into both Bristol and Bath.
We had an excellent short break and plan to revisit the site.

What a great little site!
Situated in Bitton village, halfway between Bristol and Bath and close to Keynsham.
Ok, some people may be put off by the traffic noise, but you get used to it.
Also only one (but immaculate) toilet and shower.
If you like your bus rides this site is idea, and there's even a steam train just a few minites walk away!
Level ground, no hard standings but seemed well drained.
Nice owners.
We will be back!

What a fantastic site! Warm and friendly welcome from the owners - they just couldn't have been more helpful!
A small site on a small farm beside the main Bath to Bristol road in Bitton with easy access to a pub, a sports and social club and bus stops a couple of minutes walk in either direction.
The facilities are spotless - rather like using your own bathroom at home! Re-cycling bins are emptied and rubbish is cleared daily
If you are quiet at dusk, deer come down the hill behind the site and make a wonderful addition to the surroundings.
This site is ideally located in order to visit both Bristol and Bath or Keynsham.
Thank you for providing such a home-from home!

A lovely little site, within easy reach of both Bath and Bristol.
VERY helpful site team. Beautifully clean toilet and shower.
Although only one of each, availability was never a problem on this friendly, picturesque site.
Very well maintained facilities. Possibility of purchasing homemade cakes (delicious!), honey and eggs.
Great pub with large beer garden (dog friendly) a short walk away.
Avon steam train station just down road. Can be seen from the site, lovely!
City bus tour of Bristol was excellent! ! Far better than in Bath.
Excellent value site. Highly recommended.
Would definitely come here again. Can't fault it.
