Yeah really good base!
Once you get in you are left to have your stay!
The only downside was the showers only on for a few seconds at a time and not very warm

A nice little campsite located near the Bristol to Bath cycleway, which is what we wanted.
The facilities (toilets, showers etc) were clean and well maintained, and everything worked fine.
Victor and Julie looked after us well and overall a lovely stay,
Would definitely return to Knights Folly in the future.

Lovely welcome and information given about the facilities.
Super little site campsite surrounded by beautiful countryside views.
Short walk to bus stop for travel into Bristol city centre about 45 mins journey although only about 6 miles away.
Fonthill garden centre next door for good range of plants etc and super cafe.
Will definitely return and explore Bath next time bus route available

Really nice site. Small and the hosts are very friendly. The showers and loos are very clean.
Some pitches are on a slope but not enough to bother with blocks.
There are bus stops close to the entrance and the Bristol/Bath cycleway is very close.
I have just one little criticism, I would have liked a washbasin in a cubicle in the shower block and my husband commented that the hand-wash basin was not really the place to wet shave.

Nice Caravan and Camping Club small CS site on the main road between Bristol and Bath.
Friendly welcome from the owners, reasonably priced, good shower and toilet block, slightly sloping site with a mix or hardstanding and grass pitches.
They also have a sloping camping field and a separate level overflow field. Could do with a grey water drain in the main field and longer on the shower timer button.
Shops and pubs a 10 minute walk away. Next to a garden centre with a cafe and a short walk to the Avon Valley Steam Railway which you can see from the site.
Good area for cycling or walking including on the tarmac old railway line to Bristol and Bath. Hourly bus service to Bath and more frequently into Bristol.
Great location for exploring the area.
Lots of European plates on vans so they must also allow non club members.

We can't praise this sight enough. The location was great, rural, but easy to catch a bus into Bristol or Bath, it is close to the Avon way and a heritage railway.
The site is well maintained and pleasant, the shower block was spotlessly clean and about the right size for the number of pitches. The owners are really helpful and friendly and are always on the ball carrying out maintenance and cleaning.
The site is split over three fields, a smaller lower field, which I believe was originally a CS Site, and a larger field on the opposite side of the drive and there is also a tent field behind this.
Most pitches are grass, there are hardstanding pitches but access to them is over grass, it seemed quite firm and well drained, but it is possible that heavy rain might cause problems for some vehicles, however it is on a farm, so I am sure a tractor would be available if a tow was needed.
Brilliant site, I can't recommend it highly enough.

A lovely campsite, very peaceful
Excellent bus route to bath and bristol
Ideal for the steam railway
The facilities were very clean and well maintained
The owners could not have been more helpful they they even let us put our motor home on their court yard while we went for sunday lunch on the steam train, thank you very much
We had a lovely weekend
There aren't any shops or pubs near and no advertising for any take ways, that's the only downside
Lovely garden centre next door too
