An efficiently organised site. Not cheap but then nowhere good is these days.

The toilet/ shower/ pot wash hut was clean and well maintained.

The combined shower/toilet rooms were convenient and it would be good if other campsites adopted this format.

The only slight gripe is having to block a single track road with poor visibility while opening/ closing the gate onto the site - more of a problem for the solo traveller.

Trevor & Jo have a super little campsite tucked away in rural Kent but only a ten minute walk to a pub, Co-op and bus stop (takes you to Sittingbourne or to Rainham where you get catch a train to Rochester, Chatham or even London).

There’s loads of public footpaths nearby. Ask Trevor about his walk to the 2 single trees……stunning……

The facilities (2 x shower/toilet/sink) and a wash up room are spotlessly clean, well lit and warm. The showers themselves are modern & strong with lovely hot, hot water.

Outside, there’s a drinking water tap and, for motorhomes, there’s waste water disposal.

Trevor takes great pride in his lawns and it shows…… beautifully maintained. Max number of vans on site is 5 (all with EHU) which allows for very spacious pitches.

I received a lovely welcome and farewell and everything was explained to me in detail.

I really enjoyed my 3 nights at 5 Acres and will recommend and return.

Very friendly owners couldn’t do enough to help. Excellent facilities, a very clean and well run site.

Pitches were perfect just a small slope with lots of space. Great for your dogs too, with 5 acres of mature orchard to walk around.

Very peaceful and will definitely revisit.

Local shops, coop and Fish & Chips within walking distance.

Just completed a 5 day stay @ 5 Acre’s, had a lovely break we were welcomed at the gate by Joanne and Trevor and given all the information we would need for our stay.

This is an attractive site set in an orchard from which you are free to help yourself when the fruit is available.

This site is immaculately kept as are the amenities which are new with beautiful views in all directions.

Grass pitches are set looking out over the hills not at each other, if it is peace tranquility and birdsong

You seek then this is the place for you.

🥰🥰 Just what we needed, a weekend break away in the middle of a field. 🥰🥰

We found a lovely hidden gem in our beautiful Kent countryside, #5acres 5 Acres Caravan & Camping Site

From the moment we got there to the moment we left Joanne and Trevor were there if we needed them.

The site is beautiful. Just five pitches, adults only with facilities.

The apples from the orchards are scrumptious 😋

Absolutely loved how the pitches are set, no one over looks anyone and no one blocks the views of the orchards or the river.

Will definitely be visiting again, especially as its only 35 minutes down the road.

Easy walks into Upchurch village, the The Crown in Upchurch lovely staff and the Sunday lunch. Wow, the best Sunday lunch in a pub for a very long time. Highly recommend.

A nice walk down to the Saxon shore line along the river Medway via Lower Halstow.

Just lovely to escape reality at times.

Will definitely re visit. 😊👍

A peaceful site with views across to the downs and within a half hour walk to the estuary and the Saxon Shore Way.

We did a couple of circular walks round the estuary and downs.

Lots of tree fruit available in the site orchard when in season.

Very clean facilities and friendly hosts.

Heard a little owl for the first time!

Stayed at 5Acres for 8 nights in July. We have camped all over the UK in our tent for years and we were really bowled over with this site.

It says on the website: "We are a family run, Camping & Caravanning Club (CS) members campsite situated in 5 acres of beautiful Kent countryside.

We are keen campers ourselves with over 20 years of experience and currently own a tent & touring caravan (which we currently have stored in Spain and do a road trip each year) so we like to think we understand what campers really like. "

And they certainly do live up to this statement. The site is quiet, peaceful, very well run, and clean & tidy.

The shower block is immaculate very well appointed and is cleaned every day. The tent paddock is on a slight incline but it's not critical and we were extremely comfortable in our tent.

The Crown pub is only a short walk away and is a true local where we were made very welcome. We will be sure to return to 5Acres when next in the area.

Thanks Trevor and Jo for looking after us so well.
